thats what I thought too Kitch! the underpass being dark for a moment when entering it. wow-if those are right than you are doing better at this hunt that the Crosby one last month ;p
NO, he isn't my brother, but I bet we've gotten that 1000 times, no lie. Even at Canterbury, where we know pretty much everyone, they don't believe we aren't brothers.
Haven't had much time for noodling clues up till now, but one thing that does keep floating around my mind with clue 2 is Wakefield. It's all about a bicycle tire on the lake and a scoreboard.
thanks for any idea. I still like wakefield because we are supposed to take that 2nd step...take it to another level- Wakefield can still work and bring you somewhere else IN St Paul. every idea is a good idea -if it doesnt work for this hunt, it may work for a future hunt if its remembered or able to look back on the idea.
I am up with heartburn, so I may as well contribute. Out the "lurker's haze" I come...for better or for worse
I agree that we are getting many different locations here and the tricky rodent is probably trying to play on the fact that Crosby was given away so early on. Therefore, we are now meandering around town (and I could use the exercise -- thanks, Rodent). However, there may be a pattern to the order that he reveals these places -- and something that connects them all. I think that we also need to remember that we are probably getting more information than we need. It is like those awful word problems from elementary school when the teachers would give you false information and you had to figure out what you needed and what you didn't. I am still taking meds due to that trauma...but that is another story! Â
One completely RANDOM noodle that I had from the second clue was that the second line of that c clue ends with "for". If you take that to be "four" and then take the fourth word of the next two lines, you get "Park" and "Way". Probably WAY off base but all of my other noodles are in here somewhere.Â

Wheelock runs into both CoNo and Phalen...but if Clue #3 refers to Newell, then that doesn't make much sense. Unless, Lucifer's Lair ISCoNo as we all despise the thought of searching there. But, that might be stretching it too far -- especially if you all were drawn to Newell in a past hunt with Devil's Den.
Yes OT, yellow shirt with dark collar

Med2K... Busted on the geometry.  Henceforth in this discussion I shall refrain from that damn math stuff and keep quiet. I HATE math!
LEELA!!! Glad to see I wasn't the only one today thinking Iris and Porky's! THANKS!!!
I just LOVE the noodling! So good and way better and more informed than me. I'm totally in the dark and without a clue.
But I'm having fun!
Just saw ya jake, getting served drinks :)
1897 Como Zoo is founded when the City of St. Paul receives a gift of three deer. A pasture is fenced for them in Como Park.\
I didnt' know this...
Yep, that was me. A classic moment........
Â
FYI I'm sitting here laughing my ass off.... we were SO drunk. Keep your ears open, you'll hear me yelling at Doyle.
The guy you're sitting with looks like you. Is he your brother?

I'm not particularly serious about Iris, but I do think the coincidence is funny.
CHEATERS is my favorite show.
Got kind of quiet. Everyone must be deep in thought.
not me I'm sleeping :)
plotting... and looking up bunny stew recipes...
Maybe you'd prefer a cup of tea?
Only if we can drink it from the same cup.
hmmmmmmm
interesting
What's interesting?
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmimic ;)
from sides numbering eight = 2 x 4 sides
I see DaMacMan lurking about.
And bellababy too. I guess ESD is starting her early.

There. It's out and maybe I can get rid of it.
On to more productive noodles.
ouch! almost naked men (wearing camo tight undies) on Jay Leno- getting bit on the ass by baby aligators!
Jay says "coming up next Joe COCKer" hahahaha -all I see is the undies!
time to turn it back to Dave!

thanks Terry!
Except Wakefield isn't in St. Paul.
Allison - I know that. It's why I had to get it out of the mind and drop that noodle somewhere. Here's better than anywhere else I thought to drop it.
me2 - thanks for what?

Just wanted to make sure everyone was aware of the rules.
Rules? theres rules? now you tell us! tricky rabbit!
You're a good rabbit taking care that we don't end up totally clueless and in the dark. Thanks!
clue 1 is Phalen
clue 2 gonna have to work on this one (wakefield?)
clue 3 is Newell
clue 4 is CoNo
I haven't tried this yet, but ...
The number 8 (octagon(?)
What if he's giving us 8 parks, maybe in the shape of an octagon? Intersect the eight points, and the realpark is in the middle?
Trickiest hunt yet?
I think clue 4 is Phalen for tonight

I like Ian's thinking. Perhaps it's just a tiny park that once it's figured out, it should be found after a small search.
of course I've gotten way too into plotting maps and intersecting lines.

THAT IS AN EXCELLENT NOODLE ESD
Thanks...I have an idea from time to time. With the "wheel" talk I had been thinking Wheelock Parkway. But, not much else seems to fit!
a bicycle path along a parkway- Phalen
I still like it best -I agree with it noodling nicely with Wheel and Parkway
Â
I am only posting gibberish to...

late night UN-JOE!
