Two years ago last night I saw my very first northern light display at 5 in the morning in the midst of the Perseid meteor shower. It was truly breathtaking. Rays shooting all over the sky, meteors shooting through the sky at a awesome rate and it only all faded out as the sun came up in the east.
If I live long enough to suffer from Alzheimers, I'll never forget it.
ok.. so all this talk about the "west" and "western" or whatever.... what about that "West Minihaha" playground/Rec Center over off of Dale and Minihaha ave's? or.. does anyone know of a park that Western Ave, crosses??

I did, I did see a biffy on raspberry island! had to go see for myself-sure enough :) at least I wasn't seeing things---what a terrible thing to imagine, eh?
Biffy----Common slang for a smelly, bug-infested outdoor toilet facility. One should always enter cautiously, particularly during dark hours when the facility may be filled with thousands of moths seeking refuge from heavy dew, or other critters not typically encountered when using indoor facilities.
FYI-I noticed today when I had to put $$quarters in the meter thismorning that you only get 12 minutes per quarter! what the heck? why not 15 minutes? Cause they want more $$ and think they are sly!!!I am on to them!
