I don't know about Photoshop, but Photoshop Elements has a really nifty "Save for Web" feature that I find tremendously useful for cramming images down into smaller file sizes.
Photoshop has that: I use it all the time.

anyhow -here is my sad cat story for the day...
For you all who know driving 35E south twords downtown getting onto 52 south-- *just after entering 52 south (where 94E enters on)just before crossing bridge (very very odd area for a cat to be)
--drove this at 8:15 thismorning-no cat...drove it at 10:15am dead white kitty (not even a year old stretched out as if sleeping but not the case)...drove it at 12:45pm squashed flat kitty...gotta drive it again at 9:15 tonight.. :(
awww. poor kitty. ya gotta wonder how it got on the freeway. not like thats even remotely close to something residential.
for you transplanted minniesodans who haven't been here for a while, what is now us 52 once used to be mn 3. its still known as the lafayette freeway though.
9:15 last night drove through there and there was 2 patches of white fuzz that you would only know was the kitty if you had driven through there earlier. :( Thismorning drove through and no sign he was ever there :(
