Logging into Ticketmaster to get Slayer and Marilyn Manson tickets and ending up getting Hilary Duff tickets instead. HeH
It was funny how my priorities changed just as I was to hit the button to buy excellent seats for the Slayer show. I didn't even know Hilary was going on sale today. I got right in on that too.
A male Betta. Although we've been having a bit of a challenge keeping Stoli the cat away from Finny. So I don't know how long Finny will be around. I can only discipline the cat while I'm at home. Quoting a title of an award winning movie I was in as a kid... When the Cat's Away...
Except it's when I'm away the cat will play :eyeroll:

rolling down the windows on a sunny foggy day, with my hair flying all over the place, listening to Bitter Sweet Surrender as I drive Cherokee Park - looking over downtown ~the Cathedral looked MASSIVE ... as if it had been lassoed and brought closer (like in Its A Wonderful Life- "What is it you want, Mary? What do you want? You...you want the moon? Just say the word and I'll throw a lasso around it and pull it down. Hey! That's a pretty good idea! I'll give you the moon, Mary.)
A little light looks through, her bedroom window.
She dances and I dream, she's not so far as she seems,
It happened to be the head of TOOL security. That's what the SPPD said to me as they were walking me out. They had me show my license too for some reason. They wrote down everyone's name who was kicked out.
Yeah, NS! I feel like such a fricken rebel. Funny thing was that as crowded as the restroom was, the urinal next to where a cop was pissing was wide open. So I jump right in and point it out. Everyone had a laugh. Then I told him that I was kicked out and not supposed to be let back in and also not to check my pockets because I had nothing to hide anyway. Everyone laughed again.
We're trying to institute "date night" - something where we just go do something fun, no wedding talk, no life talk, just us being together. SO, last night was her turn. What's she do?
1) Live Free or Die Hard - Opening night!
2) Smuggled in popcorn, twizzlers and vanilla coke
3) Then we go home for dinner - she made a beef roast with garlic sauce (and au jus) to eat sandwich style!
"Nothing better than sitting on your big deck looking at Uranus"

The daughter of A&E reality star Duane "Dog the Bounty Hunter" Chapman was killed in Fairbanks, Alaska, the day before his wedding in Hawaii.

Barbara Katy Chapman, 23, was one of 11 children fathered by Chapman with various women, The New York Post reported Monday.
She was killed in a car accident Friday night near her home.
An A&E spokesman told the Post Chapman's wedding to longtime companion Beth Smith was "altered" to acknowledge the tragedy.
The newlyweds have been together 16 years and share two children.
The wedding was taped and will air on A&E as part of the Aug. 14 episode.
I never seen one of them before. I was actually kinda creeped out by it.
Cool!
I can't wait to get a new one.

A little light looks through, her bedroom window.
She dances and I dream, she's not so far as she seems,
Of brighter meadows, melting sunsets,
Her hair blowing in the breeze.
And she can't see me watching.
I'm thinking, love... ahha love...ahha love... ahha love...ahha
It's bittersweet, both and sweet and bitter, bitter and sweet
It's a bitter sweet, surrender
It's bitter sweet, both sweet and bitter
Bitter and sweet, It's a bitter sweet, surrender
I said I'm older now. I work in a city. We live together.
But it's different than my dream.
Morning light fills the room. I rise.
She pretends she's sleeping.
Are we everything we wanted?
I'm thinking, love... ahha love... ahha love... ahha love...ahha
It's bittersweet, both and sweet and bitter, bitter and sweet
It's a bitter sweet, surrender
It's bitter sweet, both sweet and bitter
Bitter and sweet, It's a bitter sweet, surrender
I said I know we don't talk about it.
We don't tell each other...
All the little things that we need.
We work our way around each other
As we tremble and we... as we tremble and we bleed.
As we tremble and we... as we tremble and we bleed.
It's bittersweet, both and sweet and bitter, bitter and sweet
It's a bitter sweet, surrender
It's bitter sweet, both sweet and bitter
Bitter and sweet, It's a bitter sweet, surrender
are you sure it was Tools security and not Excel?
Things that make a concert bite:
#1 how the security treats patrons - (personally I hate going through security)
#2 sound not loud enough or bad sound system
#3 the person behind you won't stand up!
#4 band or singer is just plain aweful in person
I've been walking an hour a day all month (I don't intend to stop or anything, that's just how long I've been at it) and hadn't gotten to Como yet.
enjoy: (in the long run) New Orleans, and yes, I actually want to go back. I like the locals.
enjoy: slow southern style, sweet tea, crawfish ettouffe, turtle soup and oyster bisque.
But I was serious.
scoring 3 runs myself
making all 3 out plays in 2 different innings for my team!
being asked by the team following us, who was short a girl to play for them.
scoring 2 runs for them and 2 outs.
For someone who hasn't played softball in 9 years - not a bad comeback.

he was in the middle of the road, on south robert street, walking all drunk-like...and sticking his thumb out....
I pulled over and he hopped in....
his name was Thomas, and he smelled like a liquor store....
and also smelled heavily of brut cologne.... which reminded me of my dad - because thats all he ever wore....
dropped him off downtown, where he was going to catch a bus, or get something to eat, or whatever...
he said something about trying to see his grandson, and "thanks for the ride", and then stumbled off into the darkness.....
