Going to my first Saints game last night. It was the last of their home games for the year. The plus is they won, which always makes for a better experience.
I get crystal light packages from the store and put them in a liter bottle. Drink 4 liter bottles, you've drunk a gallon every day. I'm currently enjoying a nice peach iced tea.
Some friends of mine talked me into going to beginner swing dancing lessons. So I gave in and went.
Needless to say, I'm more clumsy than I thought I was. Not horrible like step on people's feet, but I'd definitely need a lot of practice to be considered good.
I guess on a plus side, I got to dance with a bunch of women tonight. Bad side is if those were all first impressions, I wouldn't stand a chance with any of em, heh. At least most of them were forgiving that I was new to it.
dude where are you taking that at I need to go!!! I want to finish learning how to swing dance!!! I took some lessons a few years ago and the ex and I split and never went back!!!
That is so cool that you went to that!! My former boss and his wife teach swing dance in the cities - Steve and Sue are their names - any chance they were your instructors?
The women at those classes are so damn glad that men show up! Some of my friends here go to folk dance classes and wish more men would be there.
in the library sitting on the cool floor, leaning my back in the arch of a huge window that overlooks the river while reading good thoughts by a wonderful friend.
and sitting on the window sill of a tall window at work on a sunny day while on the phone with another wonderful person just sharing life.
When we go to mexico - all the men can dance (many different kinds) it's actually taught and expected as part of their culture that they can dance.
I am a terrible formal dancer - but they are good leaders and I muddle through ok. Only got dropped on my butt once in July, when this guy spun me and I didn't quite get my feet out of the way of one another.
why.....
spending the nite at the fair with an 7 yr old
got to be around 1130 or 12am....up at 6am....
Im right there with ya bud.
Sure, September will be busy, but after October, I'll have some extra free time, and less responsibilities.
Whoohoo!!!
picture this:
me2 walking down the stairs, smile on her face
welcomed by adoring fans standing and waving
(our row at least)
moments later, the crowd erupts in applause
  :sheepish:
it was nice seeing you.
I'm sure it'd be different if I had kids, which won't be changing for a few years I'm thinkin.
Oh, and I found an orange saints tshirt
6 pounds to my next goal - then 15 from there!
I'm still working on mine.. maybe if I ate better... Tried cutting out pop, but it's hard.
Then shake it up really good - and chug about a third (10 or so oz) then I make myself drink the rest of it in 2 hours or less.
I do that 4 times over the course of work - and by the time I leave to go home, I've gotten 4 liters of water in me.
I'm half way through liter # 2 today.
Actually it's not really a taste issue, just more of a can't drink that much issue. Still, thanks for the tip, I'll have to give it a try.
same idea tho..
true lemon
they have lime too
i'll stick with the natural lemon oil and dehydrated lemon juice - no splenda, aspartame. no nuttin.
Hmm.. that crystalized lemon stuff looks interesting.. might have to try it.
gonna search down the orange next
Nother one bites the dust!!!
Since 8/18: Up 75 points! Woohoo!

Umm.. I forget the name of the place we went to. First issue was it's in Minneapolis
My one friend told me there's usually more guys than girls at this place though. Last night I take it was unusual.
I might go again if I was coerced, as that's kinda how it went this time.
women love a man who can move
can't wait to see you at MattyB's in January

that only happens in soccer - and it's usually the 6 ft 1 guy who weighs 300 pounds... and smells.
Didn't eat much though, gotta work on this whole diet thing. I did okay over the summer, but I know I can do better.
Guess I should add self improvement to the enjoy thing.
