hopefully it doesnt rain down there for you guys as much as it did for me and my mom when we went...
It was me, my mom, one of my uncles, his wife and her two daughters, back in like 1995 or so....
we stayed in fort myers beach, at some condo that belonged to a guy my mom was workin with at the time....
one of the days we were there, we drove to cocoa beach, saw ronjons surf shop and stuff...
I highly reccomend that, if you guys have the time/chance...
disney was fun, but the day we were there, it was flooded, pretty much....
I've got a picture someplace of me and my cousin, sitting in these crappy plasic chairs, in the middle of one of the disney roads, and the water is up to our waists....
fun times!
they even gave out free mickey mouse rain ponchos!!!
I think if I ever have the chance to go down there again, I want to check out Universal Studios too, though...
even though they did get rid of the back to the future ride.... :coolfrown:
If awesome shots count (towards being even 1/2 as good), that state fair candy floss pic is right up there with some of the best photos I've seen, me2.
I took up photography back in high school when my school had a dark room  .... my friend from highschool had a dark room in his house too that I thought was pretty cool. I can't remember how to develope my own film anymore though ...and ps, nothing ever really did happen in either dark rooms. He liked me, I wasn't interested in him
about a month ago I got an OLD 35 mm camera passed down to me with some bells and whistles. Ive been playing with it some but its pretty old and was put away for a long time. I don't think its gonna work well.
I would have just because thats the way I roll!!! I hate heights and I get motion sickness!!!! but I still would have done it because isnt it like Disney where if you live in the state you get a huge discount!! of admission???? My brother live in Clearwater for 2 and 1/2 years and he always bought a season ticket eave though he couldn't afford to eat!!! it was funny!!! :eyeroll: :eyeroll: :eyeroll:
doh! - I had to take a good look at the picture- I dont recall her wearing that much red, cool shoes. That was the night at Buggs about 2 months ago. We met up at Josephs and that guy drove up to us in the parkinglot asking us what we were up to, I had just got there. I think Nick was video taping. Jake said he'd like to go to Buggs so we all went. We played some pool and she bit in to your arm --- owie! something like 'love at first bite' - I think I took that pic outside of Buggs. ??
--- and yeah, Caroline, we STILL need to do lunch or dinner or something --- soon.
ya lol go night!! she was stocked because that was the first time she drank in a bar!!! it was funny!! I got a pic. of her back at my house holding one of my guns on me!!!
and here I thought I was a good guy I haven't talked to her since that night!! lol!!
Also.. driving with no washer fluid is illegal too. I got pulled over for speeding and the cop checked all my lghts, then asked me to pop my hood and I had to call my cop friend to ask him if the guy had any reason to check anything under my hood... weird, huh?
Also, a long time ago, it was illegal to drive a red car down Lake Street on a sunday.
I beet Red car sales went way up in minneapolis when they lifted that law. We need to give our govt something better to do than make up stupid laws based on the color of your car...
Maybe they'll make a new law in the downtown mpls and the SE metro area that makes driving black caddy seville STS's illegal on wednesdays and from 4pm Saturday to 2pm Monday and absolutely no driving at all on the second tuesday of the week. I'll have to call my people to ensure this happens
Also, a long time ago, it was illegal to drive a red car down Lake Street on a sunday.
As of my freshman year in high school (about 18 years ago) it was still on the books. Just one of those laws that was too dumb to waste time removing I guess. Like the law that you cannot cross the border from WI to MN with a duck on your head. (I never quite got that one)
Buying Kid Rock's new CD yesterday and coming home to find tickets to his show waiting for me in my mailbox.
I might add the CD kicks ass too. There's a tune called 'Who's Gonna Give Me Sugar Tonight?' that's sure to be super popular after it's released to the stations. They'll need to do some editing first though.
Kid Rock was sold out at the filmore when I went to get tix on Sat. Damn. I wanted to go more so for the poster.
oh well, I guess it's just another sign that I need to go to mexico instead.
enjoy: having a guy walk up to me last night infront of my wolf pack of girls, and stammer for a moment that I was really pretty, and ask if I would go out with him.
I told him, that I have a BF, but I would love to have him for a friend, and asked him to coffee. His friends who were all making fun of him, shut up when he walked back to their table with my number and tentative plans for coffee.
Any guy who has the huevos to walk up to me infront of 8 girls and point blank say something like that, deserves a shot. (at least at my friendship) ... and I've always had a little bit of a geek fetish, which he totally was....
The 'wet n wild' roll at the sushi place by me. I don't remember everything it has, tuna, and the roe are the two things I do remember along with avocado.
don't know why he is Hott Me2 - but I do find myself in some way attracted to him.
perhaps it's cause he's everything we shouldn't want in a man & it's just he's so naughty, you feel like you are crossing a line just even thinking about considering the possibility.
I always thought the objective was to kick the ball back at either the pitcher or one of the opposing team on the bases.,,,, You know, hard enough to cause welts :goofy:
We played with no subs. We played hard. We tied. The other team was really physical. On one of the first play one of the girls slammed me into a wall (my elbow is black and blue)
so the next play she had the ball - I ran cross field, kicked the ball away from her, and elbowed her in the chest when she tried to grab me.
knocked her down.
no that's not very nice of me - I know that. but she totally deserved it. Funny thing - rest of the game, she played nice with me.
sometimes you just gotta take the bull by the horns.
A good weekend of football. Friday went to see a cousin of Coco's play high school football. They crushed the other team. Then went down to Iowa Saturday to see another cousin of hers play college football. They're the top ranked team in their division I think. They had a close game, but they won to stay undefeated. Then the Vikings won a fun game to listen to on the radio on Sunday. It was a long weekend and lots of driving, and we had to miss the hunt festivities, but it was so fun.
Im could only hope to be 1/2 as good as that photographer someday. I'm dying to have a camera that can capture such amazing night photos.
and KAT! thats really cool! sounds like a fun class.
ty jess

You can imagine how hard it was to avoid mid week visits

Hey GB, guess which finger I'm holding up now?
I also went to the big old navy store down in SF and got a pair of jeans.
my old size 12
my new size 6
and they are a little big, but the 4's only came in skinny leg and my calves are too muscular. <- terrible problem really.
So I'm pretty dang happy.
only ours was a little different than yours

thats the one you need to hitch-hike with, when they make driving your car illegal.

Too bad we have to wait until December to go :frown:

does anyone know - are the rules the same as when we were kids? kick the red ball as far and hard as you can and run the bases right?
(lil nervous)
