while you're out there you should sign up for players club's at hotel/casino's you stop at....
I highly reccomend Ceasers Palace......they give out a bling chain-medallion thing....
and the Belagio gives out a "slot glove"...
my mom and step dad took me and my sister and our two step bro's out there for my 21st b-day a few years back...
me and one of the bro's decided to hit every casino, on the strip, by foot in one night....
the other step-bro, said it couldnt be done, and therefore said that if either of us could manage it, he would pay that person 20 bucks...
so in order to prove it, we had to sign up for the players clubs and get the cards to prove it....
Im not one to be told stuff cant be done, especially if its something that easy... and plus.... 20 bucks is alotta money....
so we set out on our journey...
Matt wussed out within a half hour, and left me to go it alone, the rest of the way
most places, give out the card and some piece of crap key-chain thing.... but a few of them give you a hat.... and also note the two exceptions I already listed....
I also made sure to play atleast one slot in every casino I stepped in, to say I did so...
the small ass one that the dude wins the car from in National Lampoons Vegas Vacation?... I won a hundred bux from that piece....
I walked back into the lobby of the Sahara, where we were staying, someplace around 4:30 in the morning... (I would have made it back, an hour earlier, but I found a restaurant that had 2 dollar steak dinners at 2:30-3:00 in the morning).....
and found Mike (the step bro that proposed the bet), playing poker.... so I walked up, slammed the stack of players club cards down, fanned them out, and said "come with my money, bitch!"...... he paid for everything else I did, while we were there, the rest of the week.....
note: a few of the casino's belong to a "group" that has the same players club card.... but dont be fooled.... some of them still give out gifts, for signing up.... yeah... you'll have duplicate cards, but so what.....
also....
the strip club directly accross the street from the Hard-Rock(this one's not on the strip), is weak.... visit the one down the street a little ways.... the chicks are much hotter, and much better smelling, and the drinks are stronger....
The Ghost-Bar, I believe it was called... on top of The Palms, was a pretty happenin place...I believe that casino also has the place called "Rain", which was packed as hell, and had an extremely high cover-charge, the night we went....
as a matter of fact, I think all of the "clubs" we went to, were expensive as all hell, but most of the fee's for the cool places, were waived for me and either of my bro's that ended up with me... because A. it was was my birthday weekend, 2. it was saint patricks day weekend, and my saint patty's day flashy green top-hat kicked ass D. I know how to talk my way into important places/events
dang Nick, thanks for the info. I was supposed to be there this weekend as well (St. Patty's Day) but couldn't swing two trips there that close together.
I don't remember which strip club it was (it was 1997) - but I was with an autoshop for a paint convention, and we convinced this girl to get up on her table and dance for dollars. She was actually better than some of the strippers.
(that was the night we got kicked out of the cab)
I posed in a calendar shoot with Jeff Gordan at that show - I was part of the Miss Decembers - there were like 6 or 7 of us in Dupont Bikini's pulling him backwards into a convertable.
Think the Calendar Project got shelved as it turned out to be too racy or something.
This is the only pic, on this computer, that I can find of me wearing the hat....
It was taken inside the rotating bar/restaurant inside the Stratosphere (another place, that should not be passed up... if even for the power tower, type ride on the very top, and/or the roller coaster)
the picture sucks...
I was either blinking when it was taken, or was drunk off of the 4 guiness' that my step bro - Mike bought me at the Irish festival we happened upon...
It truly kicks ass in person...
I wear it every year.... last year, Elissa and myself went to this one bar, and every ten feet, I had some drunk guy, or another telling me that the hat rocked.. even had one guy offer me 10 bucks for it...
one of these years, I'll have to break it out for the winter-carnival...
cute hat. I have a st. patty's day hat! the boy bought me one to wear on friday night - except it's a little big, so I look like a little kid with a grownup hat on.
Teen medallion hunt: A St. Patrick's Day medallion hunt is set for 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Friday at the New Brighton Family Service Center, 400 10th St. N.W. Sixth-, seventh- and eighth-graders are invited. Other activities include open basketball, cookie decorating and a snack. Cost is $3. Bring a student ID.
My officemate and I decided that in all our 'downtime' we need to start a private investigator service... there is way too much gossip around town that we need to know more about...
I don't think our retreat is going to be Catholic. The church we're getting married at is Lutheran as far as I know. I would think it's more Christian than specifically Catholic.

And these last 4 days have been hell on Earth. I can't wait to get out of here.
Ares, we have a pre-marriage retreat to go to this weekend.
<--- doesn't even want to know; it sounds scary.
<---- This is how I look everyday. And also the reason why I need to stop it too.
Hindsite: I do however think a class a month throughout a marriage is probably a good thing.
fortunately i've seen the pictures and that wasn't the case, but still.....
... mine's the 7th!! :pbpt: :ooh:
