good point - consider all definitions such as the Urban Dictionary: Mire a word describing something that is said which is totally wrong, false or complete

Correction on Mire: Other dictionaries say it is a muddy area. One I found said it is not a wet swamp, but a grassland. Anyways I had to correct my mistake.
