I agree, that sticks out the most to me as well. So many domes tho. If it's signs of St. Paul they are everywhere.

The "ancient band" certainly sounds like a Mounds reference. You could say "toodle loo" to your older kin at the nursing home there. Beyond that, nothing

It is really the most ancient of the historical places in St Paul. IM is mystical right above Bruce Vento caves and the burial of all those Indians in mounds.

Correction on Mire: Other dictionaries say it is a muddy area. One I found said it is not a wet swamp, but a grassland. Anyways I had to correct my mistake.

The Pioneer Press Treasure Hunt is part of the St. Paul Winter Carnival every year. While the prize can only go to one winner, The Allison Wonderland is dedicated to the community spirit of treasure hunting. Here, not only will you find out about the Pre-Dig Gig, the Rehash Bash, and various other social events, but we also discuss the clues here in a team effort to decipher them (albeit not always successfully).
