I saw that, too. Also saw the trails crossing (on Google satellite view) to form an "x" in an open area just north of the Hugo/Overlake Avenue intersection.

J, if I were out there (and I'm not), I'd be on the east side of Bald Eagle Lake just north of the boat launch parking area. This area is due west of Benson

The Pioneer Press Treasure Hunt is part of the St. Paul Winter Carnival every year. While the prize can only go to one winner, The Allison Wonderland is dedicated to the community spirit of treasure hunting.
