The Little Roaster is a member of the crew. After all, he gathered wood, roasted marshmallows, fell in the mud and dug and kicked in the snow. That makes it official in my book! He was quite entertaining to boot!
I thought there would be pictures by now, Ares. :-)
my camera was in the console of my car the whole time. its always with me because last spring i missed getting a shot that would have gotten me one of those nice channel 11 umbrellas. if you want pics, you gotta speak up guys. :)
I did not even see the stop sign, seen the cop car parked on st. anthony ave. and that caught my atention and on the way through kal said "um you just went through a stop sign".I had thought it was some kind of intrapment but went back yesterday and like I said earlier "IM guilty".
Sup ninjas? Neither myself, nor Shaggs has been here in a long ass time, so I thought, I should stop by to say "Whats up?" so.....there ya go. We were contemplating leaving another message, at the bonfire, but we never made it out there. Besides that, Crosby is a haunted park. We didnt wanna be there after it closed or anything. Haunted parks suck. Aight. Later, MCL.
Hey! everybody!!! ...My bad, I, for some reason was thinking that "the little roaster" was that stubby stick someone gave Terry. Now, that cracked me up! ...But! L.L., Tony, Drew, is the sweetest little person I've seen for sooo long! Makes me want....NO! I must fight it! They become moody teens...Anyway, I was hoping that my playing with him gave you a little more visiting time. The Little Roaster IS the perfect title for him. What a trooper! Hannah was happy for the snacks you guys gave her, she was a good kid, and my paranoia was unjustified. I think that my penchant for safety makes people crazy, I hope I didn't spoil any moods. NOTHING has ever happened when I bring her places because I'm so anal about her. My kids informed me that I went overboard about the Hannah thing, and I'm sorry if I spoiled any good times about to be had. Violent J, how is it that you say the park is haunted? I'm going back there with some palets, as soon as I find some.
KT - It was the Little Roaster that gave me the stubby stick complete with pre-roasted marshmallow. I darn near roasted my face while trying to roast that marshmallow!
Later he did bring me a longer roasting stick with pre-roasted marshmallows. He was soooo cute.
Inks brought his new toy home today. I thought I'd post a picture of it here. It's a 1962 vannette- previously used as a fire rescue unit - that he got from the city of Waconia for $500. It has 9000 actual miles on it. This is the before. Sometime when he gets it all painted the way he wants, I'll post an after shot.
Yeah...it is cool. I thought he was nutz when he told me about it, but if nothing else it gives me the giggles. Someone told him it reminded them of Mr. Whipples don't squeeze the charmin truck.
Terry, Does that have a Delco AM radio in it? That IS a vehicle! I LOOOVE old vans! (explains what I drive...) I love old pick-ups, too. I used to have a 1968 International, red. I miss her...
I don't know if it has a radio in it or not. I'll have to check with him later. He drove it to work tonight so I can't get out there and look right now.
Is this site being strange tonight? I keep getting this page cannot be displayed messages...and then I'm hiding...and then I'm not. What's up with that?!?
terry, check the link up top of the page. in an effort to maintain some sort of sanity on the site, they're "resetting" webx hourly until the new server arrives.
Terry, I've had some real slow response on my 'puter as well as being thrown into yesteryear. I just figured that the 'puter's got spring fever along with the rest of us. My unit is working fine tonight, no "page cannot be displayed" junk. I am pleased to say that Matt made it to San Francisco without being strip- searched.
I'm trying to get used to the new putter we got...it has windows XP on it. What drives me nutz is that the multiple windows I usually have up are all in just one spot on the task bar in the IE spot and then the various sites are listed.
It is a way cooler van! I imagine it will get painted fire engine red at some point here. Any recommendations for a good place to get a paint job done on it?
actually i missed the anchors in and on the air, dal.

We should have had ours too. We had left it behind this weekend and it never did catch up with us.
you mean you had a camera and you didn't even bring it out! shame on you ares!
i mentioned it when "little roaster" was falling in the mud, ll. i coulda had video of it too if we'd have had sufficient light.
bummer, I must have missed that one, a picture would have been great.
there's always next time. cuz the camera'll be there.
Sure wish today were Friday - or that at least tomorrow was.
Better get settled in here for the night and ready for dreaming.
Goodnight and SCDs all!
night terrrry! i'm off too, this daylight savings thing has got me all screwed up! SCD'S!
likewise here. g'nite you two. scd's and mcl.
hmm. last post one nite. first one the next day.
mornin' heads.
Good Morning!
Bright, sunny, warm, birds singing, robins out looking for worms...must be Spring.
I had a dream last night about marshmallows and chocolate. Can't remember any details, but isn't that odd?
Best keep going here. I owe, I owe, so off to work I go.
Have a way cooler day everyone!
Mornin' Sams.
Hope everyone is well!
mornin' ralph.
Morning Ralph.
Morning all!
Ok so I admit I am guilty(for running the stop sign),but still dont agree with the $105 fine.
Hope everyone has bright sunny day :) :) :) :)
No work for me today! Yesterday was my last day. Going to spend this week relaxing and cleaning, but will also be keeping an eye out for a new job.
Marley, is that the stop sign right under the railroad bridge?
Yes THX.
I got stopped there about two weeks ago. I got away without a ticket though.
I stopped but it was about halfway through the intersection.
I did not even see the stop sign, seen the cop car parked on st. anthony ave. and that caught my atention and on the way through kal said "um you just went through a stop sign".I had thought it was some kind of intrapment but went back yesterday and like I said earlier "IM guilty".
You're not the only one that has made that mistake. People go through that sign all the time. It's hard to see and it's just in a weird place.
so are you gonna fight it, marley, on the grounds that it's not sufficiently well marked? (i.e., a "stop ahead" sign would be nice)

Clown Alert!
welcome back, j.

Crosby Farm Regional Park
Well, there's that skeleton in a tree by the parking lot, and the formerly homeless guy who now lives in the hillside.
O.K., I bit. How do a homeless guy, and a skeleton equate haunted?
Good Evening!

That is SOcool...Way to go, Bob !

thanx for all the sweet compliments for andy...he has always been a show stopper! but trust me, he's not always that sweet!

I had read all that earlier - but wasn't having any problems here. It must just be the timing and mine must be off tonight.
Glad Matt made it, KT. I know you're relieved.
Evenin All!
Terry,That's a way cooler van!
I've been having some problems with the 'puter tonight too, but not just on PF.
