(Yes, Metrodome ticket prices are great...more power to you.)
You can still get cheapies at Miller Park. Half-Price Tuesdays will put you in the first couple of rows of the upper level behind the plate for 8 bucks...a "TV" seat. Or, for only a buck, the Uecker seats will get you in the house, then you can wander around the entire lower level at your convenience.
Overrated?
Miller Park is a beautiful , comfortable park that gives you the best of both worlds in terms of watching baseball in this climate.
Plus, I don't care how cheap a ticket is, watching baseball indoors on a sunny summer afternoon or beautiful summer evening isn't my idea of "take me out to the ball game". I'd rather spend my coin on the Saints, in that case.
Don't forget, you're talking about 5 individual leafs - each about the size of two football fields - that fan out and mesh together to form the roof. There are some gaps in the seams that need to be closed up.
Aren't most stadium projects under-budgeted? The crane accident certainly didn't help to keep costs down.
How can I hate Bud Selig? Not only did he bring Major League baseball back to my home town, but 21 years ago he hired a skinny, pencil-armed artist to illustrate program and yearbook covers for him. How many artists can say they have their work hanging in the office of baseball's commish? Selig can do no wrong in my eyes...LOL
I mean the hiring of your art work. I'd be a BIG FAN too.
Most stadiums are underbudgeted (I'll give you that). Why do you think that is?
I don't think they have to be. And to lay the extra tax burden on the citizens is a ...what's the word I'm looking for...a crock. Or you could use the the east coast pronunciation: Selig.
Contract this BUD:
Minnesota Twins 1st Place Montreal Expos 1st Place
I did the T-Wolves playoff cup again. Lite logo on one side...the words "All Rise!" on the other side against a crowd shot. I'll be doing the cup for the regular season next year, too.
thanks dude. you know it'd get lots o love in my house.
I'd like to think I could get one m'self, but I won't be going to the home playoff game and it doesn't look like they will get out of the 1st round (suprise).
maybe baseball fans are interested in seeing those 1st place twinkies on the road. let's check...
2002 Major League Avg *RoadAttendance*
13. Milwaukee - 26,310
24. Minnesota - 22,879
negatory. looks like wendy selig-prieb's got the player power to pack 'em in. sheets, big sexy...fans know fire power when they see it. next.
Brewers fans = Fair Weather.
2000 Major League Avg *Home Attendance*
26. Milwaukee - 19,919
29. Minnesota - 13,082
30. Montreal - 11,434
the crew was out-drawing your girls when MIL was still playing in 3rd world country stadium, juuuuuuuuuuuust a bit outside. (uecker rules) so is molitor staying up in the cities because he wants to keep his kids away from mlb?
looks like somebody's a little PO'd at the packer fans! should we turn it up a notch, or do we wait until the vikings pee all over their paper thin spirits?
The Master.
The playing field tilts when he's on it.
Nice attachment, Sammy!
The playing field tilts when he's on it.
Refresh my memory, what position does he play?
Sammy is the straw that stirs the drink.
So, his position is that of the straw?
Yes, as in Straw man!
LOL!
THOUGHT WE FORGOT THAT ONE ?
eh quEENS ?
LMAO !
slammin' sammy topples the viking fans like a bad game of jenga.
always has. always will. and that's a fact....
(Dave Matthews in the background)
"It's a typical situation in these typical times, too many choices..."
and that's the bottom line...

HHH Metrodome: No leaks since 1982.
(like m' 1988 240,000+ miles Honda Accord. Not pretty to look at, but ver effective)
Overpriced? Not really, T-10.

What was up with the leakage?
while Bud Selig took out a loan from Carl Pohlad and plot his conflict of interest.
(BTW, Selig was my pick to throw out the first pitch of the season in the Metrodome)
About the leakage...
There are some kinks that need to be worked out.
Don't forget, you're talking about 5 individual leafs - each about the size of two football fields - that fan out and mesh together to form the roof. There are some gaps in the seams that need to be closed up.

With the Crew coming on after SWEEEEEEPING the Redbirds four games!
Forgot to tell you...
I did the T-Wolves playoff cup again. Lite logo on one side...the words "All Rise!" on the other side against a crowd shot. I'll be doing the cup for the regular season next year, too.
You got any extra cups?
I'd love to see/have one.
This is how the art looks flat.
If I'm lucky, they'll give me one cup. If and when I get that cup, it's yours.
thanks dude. you know it'd get lots o love in my house.
I'd like to think I could get one m'self, but I won't be going to the home playoff game and it doesn't look like they will get out of the 1st round (suprise).
looks cool though.
I got a "cup" you can have.........
';;';sniCKer';';
SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP !
SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP !
SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP !
If the T-Wolves don't advance any further than two first round home games there should be plenty of cups left over.
Incidentally, they make those cups at a place in Kansas City called PackerEnterprises...or something like that.
It's a Packer world, T-10.
carrying all this hostility isn't healthy. Don't you even want to be there when your baby girl becomes the first Machias' to graduate?
Stay Hot Selig.
New Stadium, and the threats of contraction and yet the Brewers still can't draw as many people as the indoor 1982 Metrodome.
Brewers fans = Fair Weather.
That's why he wants to contract. Hoping for Western Minnesotans and Eastern Wisconsonites to help fill that unretractable, leaking pile of...
(clap clap clap clap clap)
overrated.
(clap clap clap clap clap)

Machias needs to get laid at home.
*knock* *knock* *knock*
(sounds of crickets out of the Wisonsonites)
Scooby Doo rocks, man!
How come the Metrodome draws more fans than Miller Park?
maybe baseball fans are interested in seeing those 1st place twinkies on the road. let's check...

Spammy's favorite movie is "Terms of endearment".

A guy with your IQ should have a low voice too!
