I'm here, but behind the times. Unpacking has taken it's toll on me. I'm still undecided on the new digs. Artemis, I'd like to go to the Wu reunion, but my girls' birthday is next tuesday, so our Memorial day weekend is always booked up with birthday events.
i have to do the same thing at home from time to time. 90% of the crap that i've got that's just taking up space is stuff i printed off once upon a time for one reason or another. its in the 'puter, so off to the recycling bin it can go. as for the rest of it: ebay, which is where a bunch of my old archaic computer hardware (what the hell am i doing with a collection of 386 motherboards anyway???) is about to go.
You can be shit faced, shit out of luck, or have shit for brains. With a little effort, you can get your shit together, find a place for your shit or, decide to shit or get off the pot.
You can smoke shit, buy shit, sell shit, lose shit, find shit, forget shit, and tell others to eat shit and die. Some people know their shit, while others can't tell the difference between shit and Shinola.
There are lucky shits, dumb shits, crazy shits and sweet shits. There is bull shit, horse shit and chicken shit. You can throw shit, sling shit, catch shit, shoot the shit, or duck when shit hits the fan.
You can give a shit or serve shit on a shingle. You can find yourself in deep shit or be happier than a pig in shit. Some days are colder than shit, some days are hotter than shit and some days are just plain shitty.
Some music sounds like shit, things can look like shit, and there are times when you feel like shit. You can have too much shit, not enough shit, the right shit, the wrong shit or a lot of weird shit.
You can carry shit, have a mountain of shit, or find yourself up shit creek without a paddle. Sometimes everything you touch turns to shit and other times you fall in a bucket of shit and  come out smelling like a rose.
When you stop to consider all the facts, it's the basic building block of life. And remember, once you know your shit, you don't need to know anything else.
Ares, maybe you've heard the term that describes how if you start at a web site, and simply browsed from page to page, you would never return to your original web site. Wish I could remember what it is.
I constantly see these new usernames popping up on the "Who's here" list and I always wonder how they got here. I don't know if I would have ever had found this place if it weren't for the situation with the old PPWC.
Well, Ares thinks I have too much time on my hands...By jumping from one website to another through the sites I came across WhiteTrash Barbie on Ebay and a man who has a 'I hate clowns' site. Anyone else find stupid stuff too? Do tell :)

I just got this picture of Ares and Me2 as superheroes. They have magical rings. Ares has a ring with a 6 on it, and Me2 has a ring with a 9 on it. They press them together and say something like "Powers activate!"
Hey folks, Memorial Day weekend is coming up, and I had an idea. I know people have been talking about get togethers. I wondered if people would be up for a picnic gathering Monday night. I see there is going to be a celebration and huge fireworks display that night at Harriet Island. I thought perhaps we could get together, have a picnic, enjoy the holiday, and see the fireworks. There's going to be live music I think (Johnny Holm Band). We wouldn't necessarily have to picnic at Harriet. It could get crowded, and if someone has an idea for another park to view the fireworks, you're free to suggest. I'm just getting an idea of interest. I was thinking it would be a family affair, so those with children can bring them along too. If you want more info on the fireworks and other festivities, here's the link to it:
Actually I was planning on going there anyway with my singles club. We'll be getting there early and probably have an all day picnic. Well, starting by 2pm anyway. If anyone wants to come hang out by us that would be fine.
Hey Kids and AW, that actually sounds fun. I did see a billboard on 35E promoting the celebration. I don't know if I can go or not yet but will see.
Just a note for everyone: Ares and I were just having fun with the 'numbers game' -so if anyone ever wants to play-your always welcome. It is all just in fun. It is not meant to be obscene or make anyone uncomfortable-laughter is a good thing and thats all it is-something to lift our spirits (and to make Ares spit coke occassionally). Clever idea Kids with the rings but incidentally I have a beautiful gold & diamonds one on my ring finger of my left hand -I am a very faithful, happily married woman :)
Much to the chagrin of single men everywhere I'm sure.
In other news I had a job interview today for a contractor position with Wells Fargo. As far as I can tell, I'm the only person they are considering for the job and their main concern is that I may actually be overqualified and not stay in the job. But it pays $22/hr so chances are I will. And I'd have three day weekends most every week. I should know by tomorrow if I got it or not, but it looks pretty hopeful!
I swear I saw him on "Who's here" earlier.

Yeah, packing goes a lot quicker than unpacking.
Actually, unpacking went quickly for me. But, now I've got to try and organize this stuff in my new teeny weeny cube.
when we moved, i spent 4 or 5 hours packing. they let us in on sunday and i had everything unpacked in all of an hour or so.
of course it was unorganised for like 4 months, but it was certainly unpacked.

Precisely.
I was up & running in about 4 hourse. Of course my new cube was the same as the old one so, that made it easy.
It was actually nice going through all my junk and throwing out all the old stuff I didn't need anymore but never got around to cleaning out.

ain't that the truth.
ain't that the truth.
It sure is. I must have reclaimed half of my space.
i have to do the same thing at home from time to time.
Shit.
That's right, shit! Consider this:
You can be shit faced, shit out of luck, or have shit for brains. With a little effort, you can get your shit together, find a place for your shit or, decide to shit or get off the pot.
You can smoke shit, buy shit, sell shit, lose shit, find shit, forget shit, and tell others to eat shit and die. Some people know their shit, while others can't tell the difference between shit and Shinola.

Pass this along---if you give a shit.
actually, i've got an mp3 (might be a wav, i don't remember) that proves that there's another, more useful, word.
Wellllllllll?????????????
We're waiting.
oh. you mean you actually wanted me to post the soundcap? or just the word?
Mornin' Sams

Well, Ares thinks I have too much time on my hands...By jumping from one website to another through the sites I came across WhiteTrash Barbie on Ebay and a man who has a 'I hate clowns' site. Anyone else find stupid stuff too? Do tell :)

Just respond back here, and soon. If there's enough interest, maybe we can plan something.
