I'm back after a lengthy absence and will be visiting Minnesnowta the weekend of th 22nd hopefully there will be a cool little medallion waiting for me when I arrive!
Maybe it goes flying off to the side? or someone (highway crew) moves it?
I still have a hard time understanding how people hit the larger animals. I've been lucky I guess (knocking on wood). I drive alot and have never had a deer or anything else (larger than a squirrel) come on the road that I couldn't avoid. When I first had my license I hit a squirrel on Thompson ave in SSP, and screamed and started freaking out. Ever since then I pay extra attention for critters.
Me2, another interesting fact, pertaining to both cats and dogs... According to my vet tech friend, they only hear the vowels we speak and not the consanants(sp?).
I, Violent J, one half of the most loved and cherished, medallion hunting tag teams, regret to inform you all, that as of right now, 10:00 P.M., this 12th of August, in the year 2002, I will be officially retiring from hunting the ever so popular medallion....
The details of my retirement are as of now... very sketchy, to say the very least, I shall actually call it "going into hiding" for the very reason, that I accepted a job, working for none other than, the Pioneer Press itself, the postion I have accepted, will not be discussed here...
Therefore, do not excpect to see 2 clowns, if any, at the Pioneer Press building for the revealing of the clues this year, or any other year, until the working agreement, I have set with "Ma" ends....
Shaggy "might" be showing up from time to time with our "assistant" from last year, but thats completely up to him.
You will all still hear from me on here from time to time, and will all thouroughly know that I still exist, but as the days grow closer to the clues being released, I will slowly, fade evermore, into the DARKness, of that, which is the Saint Paul, Winter CARNIVAL.
i dunno whether to share congratulations or condolences with ya, so i'll just say congratulations, cuz its probably more appropriate. :)
in the meantime, vj, take the time to enjoy the finer points in life. like the currently ongoing marley king hunt, for instance, in which your current position does not prohibit you from particpating. :)
Congratulations on the job, VJ! A long time friend of mine also works there. She doesn't like winter so not being able to hunt is more of a bonus for her. She's weird..but I like her anyways.
We'll know who is writing the clues if we ever see something like "Sup all you ninjas, don't be a juggalo, if you want the puck, out of St Paul don't go"

Nah, Thats not what it would say, im not gonna tell anyone to "not" be a Juggalo... cause Juggalos are cool.. it would have to say, "dont be a juggaho" or "dont be a hound dog" or somethin like that...
Me2, another interesting fact, pertaining to both cats and dogs... According to my vet tech friend, they only hear the vowels we speak and not the consanants(sp?).

There was a storm last night?
Well, my eyes were closed-but ears open 24-7 when you have children!
don't feel bad, jt. i slept through it too. was too exhausted i guess for it to wake me up.
hahahahahaha I see. I wonnnder why...hmmmmm.
let me know when you figure it out, ok?
I do know why! Have you forgotten? just like that girl at the bar hopefully forgot her night of ravaged passion.
oh no, baby. i remember it perfectly well ;)
your night? or hers?
was her name........ Joesy? :)
mine of course. i don't know what happened to her after she left.
Nick got married! :(
he married LisaMarie Presley! never thought it would happen.
Nick Cage! ::faints::
i didn't know you had a thing for nick.
Beans wants to know..."Why do cats see in people color and dogs see in gray, black & white"?
sounds like I will take her question to the cat/dog thread.
and ohhhh yeah ::ferris bueler tune::
cats see in color? i did not know that.
obviously its because they're superior to dogs. as is evidenced by the number of cat votes compared to dog votes in cats v. dogs.
Because the structure of the eye is different...rod and cones.
how do I explain that to a child? rod and cone?

Hello!
I have what will probably seem an odd question that occurred to me yesterday driving back south on 35.
Why is it that road kill is ALWAYS along side of the road - not in the middle of it or in the driving lanes?
Rush,
Visiting?
You're no longer a Minnesotan?
