So no one liked my Phalen Creek idea? I went by there just now trying to figure out where that tunnel is but couldn't quite find it from the street side. Although now that I look at the map again, I think I was there and didn't realize it because the streets were labeled differently than they are on the map. So I didn't really get to check it out.
I was looking at Battle Creek for a bit today, and it fit a few of the clues, but still seemed to not fit as many as Swede Hallow. Kellogg, I don't know. Fit a lot of them, but never did seem quite right and seems even less so now. I liked Highland briefly, but gave up on it as there's really no river running through it. I'd have to put it back at Swede Hallow right now as my best guess. But I say that having only spent about 10 minutes at the place.
I haven't been to BC, but I knew about the stairs and figured there would be a Biffy somewhere. But the award winning landscape just sounds so much like Swede Hallow and I don't know that ytou can see the flashy neon from BC. I may have to check both out more thoroughly after work tomorrow.
With all this time we're spending just figuring out the park, I wonder if it will take long to actually find the coin?
I also pondered Hidden Falls for a bit as there's a creek running through that, but you can't see anything at all from that valley so I figured probably not.
Perhaps I'm wrong, but I don't believe Baptists actually have mass. I think that's just a Catholic thing. The river doesn't actually run through the park, it just runs by it. There aren't many stairs except for those big stair-like things that lead to the river. You can see parking lots. And other clues are iffy as well.
