If I'm beat out on anybody I'm gonna go for Raghib Ismail, Quinton Jammer, and/or D'Wayne Bates. My qbs are huge question marks. Vick's passing and Bledsoe's health and ability to play at a high level are big concerns. All my runningbacks are coming off serious knee injuries. But they all kick ass when healthy.
Your draft is not all that bad. Once you dump some of your D and get some more O. You should do fine. Injuries always happen and then there is the sleeper picks. Is Duece McCallister (New Orleans) available, if not what round did he go in?

I get so tired of seeing them put a shoulder into someone rather then wrapping them up. We also had no D line push. Agreed Wolvie, I am tired of seeing what looks like a 2 yard paly turn into a 17 yard run because guys arent wrapping their opponent up. It drives me nuts. I mean c'mon, it's stuff I learned playing end in grade and high school. It's basic and rudementary stuff fellas, get with it. I'll reserve judgement yet but I do hope Tice opened a can of whoop ass on these guys.
I listened to the game last night and it sounds like the D improved over their performance against Cleveland. Seems they are still having problems against the run, the passing D seemed better. They still have 2 more games to improve. The offense sounded like they were moving the ball very well. Bennett was running good and Culpepper was hitting his wideouts. I am wondering if Tice is focusing on Moss a little to much? Any thoughts on this?
I think you would have been better getting Brees(sp) over Flutie. Smith I do not think is going to do much this year. Look at getting Carolina's rookie RB. Is Atlanta's rookie Rb still available?
What about Carolina sitting Wienke in favor of Peete? How many saw that coming? Could be an interesting season! When I get my roster I will post it and get your reaction.
Tough loss yesterday. I was heartened by some of the things I saw though. Our O-line looked good and the defense actually looked o.k when Biekert was in there running the show. Without him it seemed alot different. The running game was good against a tough "D" I feel bad for Dante, it was a bad throw. What I like about him was how he took the blame and stepped up to the plate. I think this team will get better and better and that they have a shot at contending in our division. One loss doesn't mean that it's all over. I think we'll be o.k.
I agree L2F. I've been reading on other message boards that we should start Bouman over Daunte. What a crock! He has one bad game and he is the problem? Excuse me but he doesn't play Defense. I think this team will be around 9-7 or 10-6.
And I agree with you as well. Bouman ? seriously they were saying that? c'mon, geez people get a grip. It was one bad pass at a bad time in hte game. That'll come with experience and not trying to force things. He'll be just fine and I agree with you on the 9-7 or 10-6 prediction.
Yes, they were saying that he played well at the end of the season last year and that he clearly out played Daunte. They are saying he deserves the job. They are saying Daunte is not a NFL starting QB. I find it unbelievable. I would take Culpepper over almost any QB in the leauge.

BTW I don't think either one of our squads will be busy in January seeing both teams. At least you guys will win a few this year but that's about it I think. What's up with your D ? Have they been trying to emulate the Vikes ? Actually it's our O that's the main problem now.
