This seems the most reasonable place to lay this out. I'm not *religious*, meaning, I guess, that 'religion and churches' seems like a big scam. I dobelieve that there is something . I'm sure I'm not explaining this well.
Anyway, here's what I'm leading to. Our cat became very ill a week ago, and he was put to sleep om 6/4. For the last week that he was here, we all held him numerous times. I carried him in to vet.
When we got home, we placed him in a wooden fruit crate, as his resting place. That cat weighed noticeably less. My wife agrees.
How is that possible? Is there weight to a soul? does anyone know any good info concerning something like this?
I've never really thought of cats having souls, but that's my particular belief. Some religions believe they do. However I have heard of a similar phenomenon in humans where the body seems to weigh less after death. I believe some studies have even been done on it though I don't think they came up with anything conclusive or I'm sure we would have heard more about it. But according to official Catholic Church doctrine, the soul has no mass.
I thought of your cat the last couple of days. My sister has a cat that looks just like your Maxx, his name is Milo. Note: my sisters son is also named Max :) - She has a couple of cats and I know she wanted to part with one-- but not Milo. I had asked her just incase. I am sorry I cannot help with the soul idea - but I am interested also on what people know about it. The John Edward show has talked about dogs souls crossing over but I have not heard anything about cats.
I personally believe that everything has "soul", from the dirt of the earth to the raindrops forming in the clouds, to the cells of our bodies. "Soul" meaning life force (or maybe source would be a better word), everything is a part of life.
When we have found the warmest, happiest, most welcoming spot in the afterlife, our cats will already be there, curled up into happy balls, and will open one eye and say 'What took you so long?'
I havn't used the word "bug juice" in years....I used it the other day when driving down from the lake...commenting on all the 'bug juice' on my truck windshield how it doesn't come off easily!
The next day-while driving in town there is a billboard that advertises Windshield washer fluid and BUG JUICE!
One day a farmer's donkey fell down into a well. The animal cried piteously for hours as the farmer tried to figure out what to do. Finally he decided the animal was old and the well needed to be covered up anyway, it just wasn't worth it to retrieve the donkey. He invited all his neighbors to come over and help him. They all grabbed a shovel and began to shovel dirt into the well. At first, the donkey realized what was happening and cried horribly. Then, to everyone's amazement, he quieted down. A few shovel loads later, the farmer finally looked down the well and was astonished at what he saw. With every shovel of dirt that hit his back, the donkey was doing something amazing. He would shake it off and take a step up. As the farmer's neighbors continued to shovel dirt on top of the animal, he would shake it off and take a step up. Pretty soon, everyone was amazed as the donkey stepped up over the edge of the well and trotted off!
Life is going to shovel dirt on you, all kinds of dirt. The trick to getting out of the well is to shake it off and take a step up. Each of our troubles is a stepping stone. We can get out of the deepest wells just by not stopping, never giving up! Shake it off and take a step up!

Me2, here's something interesting I found on numbers& coincidence (a little out there maybe, but interesting)
Millions of people have one thing in common; they keep seeing the numbers 11:11. These people come from all countries, all races, walks of life, and levels of awareness.
Even schoolchildren have a knowing that when they see 11:11, it's time to make a wish.
At first, it seems like a mere coincidence; then it becomes uncanny. "I started up my car at exactly 11:11." "Why do I always wake up at 11:11?"
Finally, it becomes undeniable: "All my clocks froze at 11:11."
Something very strange IS indeed happening.
MASTER NUMBERS
You may also be triggered at times with other multiple Master Numbers. The Master Numbers are multiple numbers such as 11, 22, 33, 44, 55, 66, 77, 88 & 99. These numbers belong to the Greater Reality which is the reality that is based on Oneness rather than duality.
11 = birthing and anchoring the New.
22 = building upon the New. Building New Lives and a New World.
33 = universal service through the quickening of our One Being.
44 = the balance between spirtual and physical, the reconfiguring of our evolutionary labyrinth. As Above, So Below. The creation of the foundation of our New Lives.
55 = attaining personal freedom by being free of the past & totally real.
66 = fulfilling our responsibilities in a joyful, creative manner.
77 = profound insights and revelations. Honing ourselves to our Core Beings.
88 = mastering of abundance in all realms.
99 = the completion of a major evolutionary cycle.Time for another quantum leap.
Each Master Number is a level of initiation that we all must pass through in our evolutionary journey on Earth.
Sometimes, we may even be activated by super Master Numbers such as: 111, 222, 333, 444, 555, etc. Each of these has an unique resonance which affects and activates us on deep cellular levels.
I had only briefly saw the 1st part of ATH's 320 post thismorning without reading the whole thing--I went upstairs to eat and looked at the microwave clock and it was 11:11!
We look at the clock all the time. Most of the time the numbers don't strike us as interesting enough to notice. But something like 11:11 makes you think, "Hey, the time is all 1's". A lot of coincidences I think are due to that. We simply don't bother to take notice of the uninteresting occurences, and consequently the interesting ones, in retrospect, may seem inordinately common.
We simply don't bother to take notice of the uninteresting occurences, and consequently the interesting ones, in retrospect, may seem inordinately common.
yes,we notice what we're interested in, if you start driving a blue bug you might suddenly start noticing the abundance of blue bugs you see on the road. But what about those that have a less discernable or personal reason? Different things(numbers, colors, smells, sounds, names etc) that catch the interest of different people at different times, whats interesting to one is common to another, and throughout our lives what once seemed uninteresting can at another time jump out at us and catch our attention. The question is why- is there a deeper reason certain people notice certain things at certain times? Is it connected to their experiences? their beliefs or level of maturity? a connection to inner self knowledge? is it a sign or a trigger? And on the flip side, what about groups of unrelated peoples in various scattered areas noticing the same things, in the same time frame- is it random coincidence? is there a common connection in their experiences, beliefs or level of maturity? a common connection to a collective knowledge? There is much left to learn about the "unused" portions/functions of the brain.
I was driving to Menards -west on Wentworth Ave. ---listening to the radio... the woman says the names of 2 people at the state fair she is talking to....she says "CARRIE and Stephanie"...at that exact moment I was passing and looking directly at a street sign CARRIE ST.
It was as if I were in slowmotion-I couldnt take my eyes off the sign as I passed it and the woman says the name-and it is not like it is any ordinary common name at that!
i've started taking notice of a lot more tornado sirens out there since jake's tornado siren clue.
I am watching that show that Homer says 'Doh'! which reminds me of Ares...and they are on a ship watching women/mermaids sing a tune that has the words 'siren island' thinking of the hunt... and now some guys are singing 'Lady' by Stix? -makes me think of THX :)
What the heck-I only found out recently that Jake loves the A-TEAM -he knows all the words to the theme song (ask him, maybe he will sing it for you too) :)...and now on a commercial the main guys for football talk (Aitkman and such) are NOW gonna be called the A-TEAM!
I am watching that show that Homer says 'Doh'! which reminds me of Ares...
you too, huh? interesting fact about that episode, since the tale that followed was the story of joan of arc. after she was burned at the stake, witnesses say that her heart was still there, untouched by the flames. which was why she was made a saint.
it just made an interesting tidbit of information. that was vaguely related to the thread topic. what? you can post historical information but i can't? and i refuse to answer the rest of your questions on the grounds that my answers may incriminate me ;)
2 weeks in a row I have chosen 4 of the 6 PB #'s!!!! but not all together in the right places- last week even all 4 on the same ticket. Well, the 744 is chasing me! it is either 7:44 in the time or 7 minutes 44 seconds left in a football game or the numbers on the license plate of cars or trucks!!! it was just 44's then the 7 started showing up---hmmmmm server 44 at Perkins -#44 catching the ball in a football game - 444 items found when searching on google. uuuhhhhh
I know what ya mean. My number is 317. It pops up everywhere for some reason. I just wonder how many numbers one subconsciously sees during the course of a day. I'm sure it's way more than we think. Especially time. I'm sure there are other times of the day but it always seems to be 3:17 am or pm for some reason. Heeeeeelp.
Well, yesterday a friend wanted my to drop him by the liquor store. He wanted to go out of our way to one down near Prior on University. FYI-very very impressed with the service! The Midway Liquor Store. I thought-cool-my dad used to live and work near there and that is where he used to get his PB tickets-so off we went to that location- we get there and I am filling out my lottery tickets form and got the urge to use the address of the store -so I ask the guy- "what is your address here?" -he says "1944University" - Can you believe it?!!!! Then I recalled my dad's address when he lived over here- 444 Lynhurst! So after the guy processed the tickets I realized the 444 and thought-'geesh, I shoulda played another 4 in that set of numbers'...I get my tickets back and look them over and loh and behold! I did play the 4 with the 19 & 44!
Goodluck tonight everyone!!
and CM? I like your numbers-we are in sync! I play the 3 and the 17 too :) but maybe thats why we both arnt winning together :( I used to be able to '3 in a bed' the 17's in darts all the time! before I broke my colar bone :(
Oh my TMK, does your fiance know about your 'mystery machine' yet? or is it a secret still?
She'll know it well enough to know why it's called the Mystery Machine ;)

But if that were the case, a dead body would still have a soul just as much as a living body, which wouldn't explain the weight loss.
not necessarily, if you look at it from the point of view that there's a collective soul at the same time as each molecule, cell, etc. has one.
Is anybody else thinking about Obi-wan?

case and point. i've started taking notice of a lot more tornado sirens out there since jake's tornado siren clue.
Ares is going to watch "The Wizard of Oz" and think "You know, if they had a tornado siren, the house wouldn't have been taken in the tornado...."
hahahahahahaha

I see a lot of people getting rid of their Stix albums at garage sales and always think of you THX...:( can't get you outa my mind with that one-sorry
did I miss something Ares? with Joan of Arc becoming a saint? why did you tell us that? or were you thinking of me again :) In your eyes I am a saint?

Wow!
Life in the "Dead Threads".
and he got post 344 :)
I got a 'consecutive JOE' 345 :)
Life in the "Dead Threads".
Does that mean there IS life after death?
uh, its called a joe in a row, silly.
That's better ares. I've been calling them consecutive Joes for awhile now cause I couldn't think of anything clever.
I like things"consecutive" if you know what I mean!
well, given the numbering in shoot the breeze, that can be arranged, if you know what imean ;)
Good Old Dal. She was such a good kid. Until she started hanging out with those thugs in the Cooler Crew.

I'm calling ya a thug if ya are a thug!

Then I'm not calling YOU a thug.
