If you're bored and need something to do....I have plenty!

Filled out 6 or 7 sheets of information for the insurance company about the stolen Suburban. Seemed to be about 30 million blanks of information to complete.

The adjuster was out today to look at the vehicle. Rumor has it that they may total it. (Did I tell you the tranny is shot?)

One of our toilets decided to start leaking. That will get repaired tomorrow.

Our satellite tv is acting up. The repair guy showed up two days ago at the wrong house! He called Inks. Said he was banging on the door but no one was answering. He was up at the Sturgeon Lake house. They are supposed to be at the right house tomorrow afternoon - probably when the toilet is pulled apart.

I took my Mother in for an MRI last evening. My sister was to take her to the doctor tomorrow and for another x-ray. My sister called tonight and had to cancel out so I get to do that running tomorrow morning.

Monday my daughter got a flat tire while at work. She called our insurance company for roadside assistance. They came out, changed the tire and put the parts in the trunk. She drove it home and it sounded terrible she said. She took it to Sears yesterday to get the tire fixed and then took my car to work and back.

Sears called her and told her she was missing some clamp and a couple of calipers on that wheel and another one of the other side of the car. ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? They said they couldn't do that work so she told them to fix the tire, put it back in the trunk and then she called me wondering what to do next.

She found the minister at church who is a backyard mechanic and he said he would meet her at Sears after work and get the parts and fix it for her. The car was still up on the rack - since 7:30 in the morning. They went and got $21 worth of parts, he used the tools at Sears and they waited for the tire to get repaired.

Because it took so long to get the tire repaired, they didn't charge her and gave her a $5 coupon besides. He repair cost her $21...but lots of frustration and calls to Mom in the meantime.

One of my staff is having issues with her SO. Of course that affects things at work. It's been strange there.

Dishes, laundry and general house cleaning need doing here. No reason to be bored!

I am faaaaar from bored! last sunday my sons dad came to pick him up, he was pissed off at him for somthing and decided to punch my kid in the face! needless to say, he took off running and I didn't find him untill the next afternoon, so I took custody of him again. now some kids in school are threatening him for somthing he did and I have to get him transfered over here, I think he has skipped fourth hour all week cuz these boys are in that class. I think I'm gonna run away too!

LL - I know how that feels. Used to think about running away often when my kid used to do that. Hope things settle down and go better for youz.

Only one more wakeup till Finally Friday. That means the end of this bizarre week. There's hope! There's a light at the end of the tunnel!!

Went through all that last week...but about that 'light at the end of the tunnel'?...I had a much better week this week even though its already over...seams like the fun stuff ends too soon :( So maybe you both have something to look forward to-

Thanx guy's, I just keep reminding myself that its only 2 1/2 years.
hopefully he will realize that hes better off here and sraighten up! he wants to get a job so that might help, it'll keep him busy anyway!

Hello all you cooler people!! I've been a stranger here. (Of course, I AM strange) Been a work slave for too many weeks, but today is payday!!!!! I liked that check, with 26 hours of overtime on it. I will be strong, an squirrel it away for leaner times. Or the dentist, which ever comes first. Artemis, I'm glad you foiled the tooth- pulling... I have a filling falling out.:( Dental work is just not my gig. TV, all I can say is "what the?" well, have a cooler weekend all!!!

monday's payday here, kt. as always i'm very much looking forward to it. dental work's not my cup o tea either. of course i'm incredibly vain: there's one filling in this here mouth, and i'll challenge anyone to find it. (if me2 finds it, i may let it cancel out the lunch she still owes me over whether the first bank sign as 3 or 4 ones "rotating" around it. then again, i may not ;)

Good Evening! We're north where I have internet service. The satellite repair guy somehow managed to disconnect my cable for the cable modem in the cities. We finally figured that out right before we headed out tonight. Now we'll have to get that plugged back in and I should have my internet working there again.

On Wednesday they had a Tech Fair at work. I always enjoy checking out the new stuff. There was one thing in particular from the ergonomics guy. It's called a roller mouse. It actually sits on what would be a wrist rest at the bottom of the keyboard. You operate it with your thumbs. It is sooooo way coooler!!! I told my supervisor I HAVE to have one! If I can find the URL for it here, I'll post that later.

There's always drawing for door prizes at the Tech Fair...and I won a blooming zebra plant! They brought that over to me this morning. What a nice surprise!

I'm looking forward to next weekend. Who all is coming Saturday?!? I can hardly wait.

Best get going to bed here. We're watching a 2 1/2 year old for the weekend. I'm not used to that. I suspect I'll be tired out by the time he gets picked up on Sunday.

ok so the other day i get a license tab renewal notice for my hoopty. problem the first: the notice is still showing my old plate number, which got moved to my brother's old car when i bought it. the hoopty now has new plates. so i call up the dmv and ask about it, and i hear that yup. the computer says the plate change has been effected so i can just use the new plate number to renew the stickers. cool right? wrong. the new plates and vin number don't match up in the online system so i actually have to go to maplewood city hall one day, stand in line there, to get the things. the only reason i even care about doing this is because they expire at the end of october and it would be nice to edit my car soup ad to say that the tags are good through 2003. is it really too much to ask that the dmv keep their computer systems in sync? then again, is it really too much to ask of my self to think far rnough in advance to actually pay for 2003 tags when i did the magical plate transfer in the first place and save a rapingfiling fee in the process?

I figured I better stop in here while I still have internet service. In the cities the satellite guy somehow disconnected my modem from somewhere. We'll have to figure that out either later today or tomorrow. What a pain.
