Yeah, I think I may be off on it, but I can't place the song. It's bugging me.
I wish there were at least some lyrics to go on. Oh well, I guess that's what makes it tough.
Any of you lurkers have an idea?
i dunno cm. i did something stupid with ie in xp and now it won't load the mp3 and i haven't had time to correct it. plus i can't right-click and save the clip. :(
ares - it should be in your temp cache if you loaded it before.
Chem, you may be right. I can't listen to it now that I'm at work. I hope you're right.
Thanks again
Not sure about 3. 5 sounds like "God Bless the USA" by Lee Greenwood. And I'm not sure who Don Schlitz is or what he sounds like, but 8 sounds like Kenny Rogers to me.
# 3 is - John Denver - "Almost heaven, West Virginia" - Country Roads. I think I agree with TMK about #5. Not sure though on that one.
Good call on Lee Greenwood & John Denver!!! I'm not the greatest on the musical ones. Then again, I use a lyric search engine for the others. That's how I came up with that Don Schlitz. I think it's Kenny Rogers too but the lyrics match Schlitz. I haven't herd him though. He might of wrote it and Kenny sang it. I'll need to DL both to be sure. Thanks
Just did. You are correct in that it is Kenny singing the tune. Man there's no stumping you guys. Thanks again.
Happy October
You should see the video to that song. It's really good, also listen to the whole thing- a very good song.
I see tears in my eyes already )-;
The site isn't responding right now. But, I'm Alright was on the Caddyshacksoundtrack, and Somebody's Baby was on the Fast Times At Ridgemont Highsoundtrack, if that helps.
Thanks Frosti - I'll check them out
As for Heaven check to see if it might not be When you Love Someone by Bryan Adams.
If it is then the connection is Garth's and Bryan's songs appear on the Hope Floats sound track.
#1- Chicago - You're the Inspiration
#2- Britney Spears- Sometimes
Chemist is right on 5, 8 and 10. 11 is Heaven by Bryan Adams. Let me work on 12 and the bonus.
You guys friggin ROCK!!! This was a hard one for me this time. Thanks. I'm still checking the soundtrack situation too. Awesome catch on #1 & 2! Great observation on #5. I can't get that damn #9 at all. Too vague
#12 sounds like Oingo Boingo to me.
Which was on the Fastimes at Ridgemont High soundtrack I believe. I'm not sure but I think so.
That's it!!!!

Song on soundtrack:
#1. Somebody's Baby - Jackson Browne
#19. Goodbye, Goodbye - Oingo Boingo
I would think so then, because the Jackson Browne song is on the same soundtrack.
You are correct sir!! Great job.

Thanks
Only #9 left. Chris Isaak, John Cougar ?
Sorry, I can't figure out #9.
I know I've heard it but I can't remember.

#4 sounds kind of like "Holding out for a hero" by Bonnie Tyler.
I'm unable to play most media files at work so I can't check. Maybe someone else could?
I think # 6 is "Whenever God Shines His Light" by Van Morrison.
What the heck is that at the end of the recording?
It's two bonus tracks. I don't have a clue on either one.
WOW! You guys are fast. I haven't even opened my eyes and you guys are rockin'. Ranked #1 THX going into this final day. I think I'm gonna expose my little "secret" source to the administrator just so he can see how I got a few of those really hard ones. He doesn't understand how I could EVER get ANY country tune at all. Pretty funny. I found out that my competition sends out massive group E-mails every day and also has the songs that their stuck on added to their voice mail at home and work. So far you guys have kicked their ass. (by 3 points that is)
I somewhat know #14 but #13 is a problem. I'm gonna start in on this again.
Thanks again. You're all awesome!
I just went back to the page and the link for the music is gone?
Nevermind, now it's back!
Was anyone able to verify the Bonnie Tyler song?
I'm going to let the person who's putting on the game know about this but not any of the competition. He know's that I'm using something other than the standard lyric and music sites but doesn't quite know what.
Checking on Bonnie Tyler now...
i'd love to verify it for ya, jt, but alas, they've shut down our access to the p2p networks here :(. and cluemaster, you're welcome. hey, when are y'all doing another one of those photo hunt thingys?
Have to measure 12 pH's in the next 1/2 hour so I can go golfing
You wild man, you!
Not sure, but how does Styx - Mr. Roboto sound for #4. I need to DL for sure.
ares - We've slacked off on the photo thing for most of the summer partly due to golf and vacations. I'm sure we'll start up again now that it's getting colder out. I'm personally going to try and get in a few geocaches before the snow falls first since I just obtained that new GPS. I think I know how to use it pretty good now.
but how does Styx - Mr. Roboto sound for #4
Yep, that's it!
THX - Still not positive on #4. You might want to change your 'lyric' search to 'song' search above. I keep using it for a lyric search when it pulls up songs instead. Just an FYI
way cooler, cm. keep both me2 and me posted about the photo hunts.
and that's mysearch above. i'll change it.
Bonus track #1 - "Use my body" - What da F is that??
Bonus track #2 - Autograph - Turn up the radio? confirmed
ares - will do and thanks (nice Joe)
I wonder how Lance would be if we used this as a forum for the picture hunts instead of the web site? There could then be real time updates and postings. As it stands now, other than E-mails, we need to wait for the site to be updated to see if anyone found the picture angle or not.
You might want to change your 'lyric' search to 'song' search above.
I haven't been using the search, just my noggin'.
:-)
From your picture, your noggin seems pretty huge. As you see from my picture, mine is pretty small. ;-)
Noggin that is...
I don't notice other men's noggin's
Very wise advice my friend.
6 Van Morrison - ?
#6 is Van Morrison's "Whenever God Shines His Light"
The part he sings is:
Open up my eyes
btw: He did it with Cliff Rich
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=Lyrics+%22Whenever+God+Shines+His+Light%22+Van+Morrison+Cliff+Rich
it is after all very hard to work when your noggin is down. ;)
You right again THX. Good one!
Off 2 work then I guess...
I gots da first bonus track.
Rob Zombie- Never Gonna Stop
No Way!! I love Da Zombie mon!
I gotta check. You F'in wit me?...
Holy crap! Great job!
I B a shoe win na.
Tanks ATH.
