See if you can top Marley King, all you gotta do is find the thing!!!
ares
we were rather struck by the sight of all of them in the yard too, visible from the road leading into battle creek. in fact i commented that i don't think i've seen that yard that full in a good long time. we didn't get out at im, as that's where we had the chinese fire drill because me2's head crap threw her into quite the coughing spree.
:: debating whether i want to give me2 the chance to say what she told me she was gonna post in the cooler or whether i should just post it myself cuz i know she won't be back on till after tomorrow morning's clue ::
:: must remember to call her with the clue sometime around 915 tomorrow morning ::
I wish we had thought about checking out Hidden Falls. I'm trying to remember if there's railroad tracks up around there or not. I don't actually think it's there at this point - can't put the 30 to 40 or 40 to 30 there - but it would have been good to get a good look-see during daylight hours.
there aren't any there that i can think of, but there may be some visible from the park that cross the river (the same ones that are visible from cherokee, perhaps.
i drove around como this evening. didn't get out to go look anywhere. too dark out, and its not like i own a fully-decked-out squad car to light up what i'm looking at (though if i did, legal or not, you can bet i'd use every light on the thing i could turn on).
ya know, artemis, from day one of this hunt, i've had real problems with referring to it as "finding jake's treasure". i mean me2 witnessed him pee in the park in front of their house even though he could have just as easily went in their house to do it, i saw him pee in the woods in swede hollow, and i figure that by saying treasure it sounds too much like we're trying to find his "golden treasure" :)
note, jake, i'm not trying to rag on you with this, its just too damn coincidental is all.

How about street names? There's an English St and a Rome St,
Europeans use the metric system to measure. How could this fit in? a parking meter?

Maybe by a stop sign in a crushed up Coke can or by a big line of mysterious white stuff.

COKE HERE (?)
HERE's where my cache is.
Cooler! I love Cherokee. When we were scouting yesterday, I made note of that fire hydrant where it was found way back when.
Often when you're there, if you look up high, you'll see eagles soaring.
Cool Ian. I'll definitely bring the GPS for your cache while looking for the cash.
Remember how warm it was one time it was up there? That ice castle came down in no time. I also remember a lot of heavy melting snow too.
Coke Here - Cherokee Good Job Mr. Med!
Maybe the next clue will have something to due with a little cutie who was just found guilty of shoplifting?
Yeah- Jackson, MISSISSIPPI ;)
Ares & I were out and realized The Metric Auto Shop too-so somewhere between the tennis courts and Auto shop --King and Smith :)
