and ares, that is such a sweet job. although it may include its fair share of headaches, with little kids breaking machines that cost thousands of dollars, and your cousin being expected to fix them.
I'm not sure what my dream job would be at this point in my life. I enjoy doing what I'm doing now most of the time - but there is an itch for something more/different/challenging.
Ken Speakes wanted to do a story on Geocaching and happened to call the day I was giving a talk to the Minnesota Recreation and Park Association Conf. They taped my entire talk (45 minutes). I would say that 98% of it was positive, 2% cautionary, none negative. I have not seen piece, but have asked Ken to send me a copy.
I would like to talk with cachers about some possible changes in our policies for next year. The main change would be the registering of sites with us. This would be done to control the number of sites in a park and to headoff any problems of placing caches in sensitive areas. This is currently being done in Cleveland Metroparks with positive results.
One quick comment on the cautionary side: Our parks close at sunset. Caching at 11:00 pm is not advisable and technically illegal.
Thanks,

Oh yeah, and since y'all were talkin bout video games before (GTA VC) y'all gotta go get the new Samckdown game... Its bad as hell. Me and my brother have had Iron Man matches, TLC matches, and Cell matches, that are way better than anything you'd see on TV. WOOOOOOOO!
Hmmm, I'm looking at that house on Tim's avatar and I'm thinking...heavy rains...mudslide...
I was thinking-I love the cabin style :) -Have a wonderful time Tim!
see, and i'm still trying to figure out what day it really is. part of me feels like today was friday. part of me feels like tomorrow's supposed to be thursday \09
WoW-thats scary-same thing happened to me-I lost the 14th somewhere-went to pay bills and got mixed up.
i wanna ask if any of y'all have ever drank jello when its still warm before it sets up. a very interesting feeling in your stomach it is about 3 hours after you drink it. as it tries to set up.
Is that with alchohol or without?
Hey AW! I have played that game before in my games magazines-I like those--I am IN!
he's working as a tech for chuck e. cheese
NO WAY! last night Mark and I sent the kids to the lake with the grandparents---We were driving up Robert St looking for dinner and I mentioned "hey, we don't have kids lets go to Chuck E Cheese for dinner" :)
We're here to serve. (any lonely MILF's that is) \09
that should be your tagline. :)
NO SNOW HERE-SUNSHINE :) - I am on the COKE HERE side of the river.
Some clouds, some sun, some snow, some leaves still falling from the mighty oaks. So weird. Gotta love Minnesota!
Good Morning!
Just breezing through before heading downstairs to bring up the decorations. I've decided for sure the decorating for the holidays will commence today.
I've decided for sure the decorating for the holidays will commence today.
hahahhaha-My husband has been putting up decoratons for the past week at the greenhouse! He will be so sick of it by the time we begin here at home :( -- Lighting Ceremony at Linders tonight at 6:15!
Just had the Oak trimmed out front yesterday! Hopefully not as many leaves will fall next year. We were told that the tree was in excellent shape and had another 50 years to go. So I think that makes it 250 years old right now approx ??.
Damn... I forgot we got pictures taken last year down there.... Ive got more hair than that now.... Thats back when I was shavin my head n stuff. Right now, I've almost got an afro goin again right now.... I cant figure out why we're givin the camera a thumbs up, instead of flippin it off though. Ah well...
Off to Haiti in a few hours... goodbye everybody, I will be back in a few weeks. After that, we are only a few weeks from Christmas, and then a few weeks untill the HUNT! I love having things to look forward to! (after that; graduation)!!!
you were out at coke here that nite. every time he answered his cell phone it was "yes ma'am", much like i often answer mine with "yes dear" whenever you call.
Like my wife 'isn't' like my mom anyway. Always telling me what to do and such. You're right in that I'm glad the pillow was separating Joe from my gal and I (don't tell the ma'am) Had it been 9069, that would be great since Joesy would of been welcomed to join right in. But for now I'll just get back to the laundry and dishes. 8-)
For anyone interested and in case you haven't heard yet....
There is a Leonid Meteor Shower expected overnight. There is supposed to be two "clouds" of meteor matter that the earth will pass through. The first one should be around 10:00-10:30pm local time and the second about 4:30am here. Hundreds of meteors should be seen each hour. Should be spectacular!
10:28,Back. Nothing. A full moon and downtown city lights make it hard to even see the stars let alone meteors. I guess I'll try again at 4:30 at home. Better viewing.
me2 - This is the night. Amazing that the skies cleared out. Too bad we have so darned much light pollution. I'm setting the alarm for 4am and try to talk myself into heading out in the cold to some darker skies.
Anyone doing dishes and laundry - or other general dusting, vacuuming, floor washing, bathroom cleaning are more than welcome to show up at my house!
Last year during the 'peak' viewing period, we were in Austin. We drove 5 minutes out of town, parked on a country road, and watched the show. It was spectacular.
Damn man... I play video games for free.. if I got paid to do it, Ya'll would prolly never hear from me ever again.
So... who was that damn obituary for? I wanna know who died, ya'll.
according to jake it was one of the finders of the (i think ) '59 and '61 medallions.
I know this is gonna sound all mean and evil... but damn... im a wicked clown, so whatever....
does this mean theres one less person to worry about finding the medallion?
I suppose that would be one way to look at. Twisted, maybe. But still a way to look at it.
and ares, that is such a sweet job. although it may include its fair share of headaches, with little kids breaking machines that cost thousands of dollars, and your cousin being expected to fix them.
every dream job has its price, timmers. :)
for me, that price would probably be between half and 2/3 of my current salary.
Dream jobs.
I'm not sure what my dream job would be at this point in my life. I enjoy doing what I'm doing now most of the time - but there is an itch for something more/different/challenging.

Good Evening from Up North!
We are in the middle of a winter wonderland. Snow on the ground. Flurries in the air. Makes one want to sing!
Santa Claus is Coming to Town anyone?!?!
there were flurries in the air here too today!
Gives me that baking Christmas cookies, putting up trees, buying and wrapping gifts sort of feeling.
hell no... it makes me wanna go sledding or innertubing... or possibly building a big ass snowman in the middle of a busy street
Damn winter... It's too bad that crocidiles are more dangerous than snow flakes, other wise I'd be in Florida like it was a $2 whore...

We'll miss the lighting ceremony tonight - but we get plenty of opportunity to see the lights there otherwise.
I have a friend who works at Linders. Great place for her. She's a master gardner.
Part of the decorations are up. Now we're taking a break to get a few other things done. It's all coming together though very nicely.
Looks like the snow just wasn't trying hard enough here.

I'm just glad that my lady friend and I have a pillow separating us from Joe.
I don't get it- Why would you be glad about that?
oooooh nevermind-the zero is the pillow?

but you're not purple today. what's up with that?
That's because I spelled it puprle
i'm not even sure i get it, j, so you're in good company.
Don't get what?
CM's pillow talk with a woman he has not yet identified as his wife
and all we know about her is that he calls her ma'am.
sounds like heartbreak to me ....
ma'am?
I saw 'lady'
you are making her sound old!
you were out at coke here that nite. every time he answered his cell phone it was "yes ma'am", much like i often answer mine with "yes dear" whenever you call.

Hey there...there's Big PF News out there. Beware!
(Just kidding. Come on by...it won't hurt a bit.)
Here: Lance Brown "Big PeoplesForum.com Announcement - Please Read" 11/18/02 9:15pm
Well it looks like Dan's the man. And there's no chance for Lance.
Hopefully this won't turn into a pay as you post deal since me2 & ares could never work that much OT to cover it. ;-)
Pay to post seems like an odd concept. People should be paying me to post! hehe
Pretty cloudy for me, trying to view the Leonids, but I saw some. How did everybody else fare?
