I was referring to the PP hunt, of course some of the mock hunts are very good and they are above 20. The cluse are usually better in the mock hunts. I am ready to dig this year, so I want a lot of snow, to hopefully prolong the hunt a bit...
Waaah The FawK!? Im prolly startn this on a negitive note, but to the clownz... MAKEUP IS FOR BITCHES! Must be a circus in town wit all this clown shit goin down... Frealz now, Wtf is RuPaul and Boy Gorage doin here? U guyz Keep Talkn cos only pplz like u would want to 'leave ur life' n not be your self N yeh must be bad takn the makup off and seein how ugly u really r.
I don't thunk it's possible to forget Mr. Moon if you've met him.
As for Skizzo, reminds me of some of the pointless bickering from the old forum. In fact, I think there was someone there that used to like to pick fights with the clowns. Not that their point is completely without merit (the makeup thing does strike me as a bit escapist as well), but I wonder why such an adversarial tone?
That, and I was thinking, "They need to go back to school for SPELLING".

Watching Ghandi late at night and in parts since it is sooooo long... I keep falling asleep ...last night I saw none other than CLIFF CLAVEN in the movie :)
Top 25 Things That Sound Dirty During Thanksgiving But Aren't
"Whew, that's one terrific spread!" "I'm in the mood for a little dark meat." "Tying the legs together keeps the inside moist." "Talk about a huge breast!" "It's Cool Whip time!" "If I don't undo my pants, I'll burst!" "Are you ready for seconds yet?" "Are you going to come again next time?" "It's a little dry, do you still want to eat it?" "Just wait your turn, you'll get some!" "Don't play with your meat." "Just spread the legs open & stuff it in." "Do you think you'll be able to handle all these people at once?" "I didn't expect everyone to come at once!" "You still have a little bit on your chin." "Use a nice smooth stroke when you whip it." "How long will it take after you stick it in?" "You'll know it's ready when it pops up." "Wow, I didn't think I could handle all of that!" "How many are coming?" "That's the biggest one I've ever seen!" "Just lay back & take it easy... I'll do the rest." "How long do I beat it before it's ready?" "Let's do it in the dining room" "I gave Mom the bird, and told her to stuff it."
And the number one thing that sounds dirty but isn't:
"Make a wish when you pull on the bone, but don't tell anyone!"
Have a great Thanksgiving everyone. Eat and Drink tons but drive careful. C-ya
Finally done for the night. All the potatoes are peeled and side dishes waiting in the ready for the oven tomorrow. One table is set and the other will get done in the morning.
I would have been done earlier, but I had to watch the Paul McCartney special. I couldn't make myself pay for those tickets to see him in concert, but this was a freebie. I had ordered the CD before the release date and that arrived yesterday. I'm a happy camper.
Hope all you have a blessed, love filled Thanksgiving. We all have so much to be thankful for...and so little to gripe about in the whole scheme of things.
add one more thing i'm thankful for: best buy doesn't have anything worth standing in line to get tomorrow morning in their ad. this is a good thing since they're single-handedly trying to make it feasible for people to hit every one of the electronics stores friday morning, by opening their doors at 6am. last year it was 7, the year before it was 8, this year its 6. crazy.
yeah, there isn't anything. unless you need a cd/rw drive they are really cheap. I also saw a few good deals on hard-drives. but I don't need any of that.
no need for hard drives here either, tim. well, unless i wanted the 200gb drive compusa's selling for 2 bills after rebates. but if i really wanted that, i'd wait until dell does an offer with that where i can get 5 of them with rebates. but i hardly need that, considering the amount of disc space i have here is just short of a half-terabyte and half of that is still empty.
We have been up N since last weekend, drove to the cities and back up on Thursday. What beautiful weather Thursday! It was a clear and warmer night, would have been perfect for a winter bonfire if we hadn't made it back so late. Friday was cold, windy, rainy, and snowy (it was blowing and snowing pretty hard but we could still see the stars), but I still got some christmas shopping done in the evening.
Terry, we made your wild rice soup recipe for dinner tonight, good stuff! We used leftover turkey and ham instead of chicken and bacon, and Marley bought garlic cream of mushroom soup, but it was good. Very rich and filling (with leftover homemade cheesecake) my stomache is still hurting :-)
We were going to head north last night, but with the wind howling, we decided to wait till this morning.
Artemis - That soup is really good. I like that one can alter it some and still have it turn out so well. I may make that here when we get back tomorrow. Thanks for the thought!
LL - Glad things are settling some for you. Hope that continues.
Better get going here. We want to be up north before the post office closes. We need to pick up our mail there.
well, I spoke too soon, last night about 12:00 the cops came banging on the door, I guess he got caught trying to steal stuff out of someones car! I don't understand this stupid system, how many times does a kid have to get caught before they take them to juvie!!!!!!!you know? if they took him in just one time he might just get scarred enough to stop the bullshit!
LL - I'm sorry to hear that. If you could get him into the system, perhaps there would be some help. I know of one kid that ended up in JDC and it did help. Are there charges?
We got north and drove into bright sunshine and beautiful blue skies.
LL-Hi- how many times does a kid have to get caught before they take them to juvie!!!!!!!
Next time the cops bring him to the door you tell them...
'I don't recognize THIS kid officers, my SON would NEVER be sportin' 'men in blue' on his arms, PLUS, I raised MY SON to have respect for his parents by being home at a decent hour and NEVER stealing from anyone. This boy here looks more like he belongs to juvenile hall. Sorry, I can't be of more help, Goodnight officers.'
Or, I'd find out who's car he was trying to break into and ask them to press charges
At the least I'd ask the police to fill out a police report so it's on record. They don't automatically do a police report but they must complete one if one is requested.
They're not doing him any favors by being easy on him.
i'd like to think that i'd have the courage to do just that were it my kid. i knew from a very young age that if i were to ever find myself in jail, i ought not waste my one phone call calling mom and dad.
Something happened today that I've been anticipating and waiting four years to see. I'm VERY glad that my wife and I were there to witness it. There have been a couple times in the past that could have been this exciting, but it was not meant to be.
In fact, the event today was predicted beforehand. My son Kris told his friend (ex-girlfriend) Stephanie) that it would happen.
He was subbing on Kollin's team. Kris' friends are on a different league, but they bowl at the same time. There were probably 20 that he has bowled with or against in the past four years. All 36 lanes are full of junior bowlers on Saturday morning. When he got the 9th strike, the crowd started working its way to lane 27. After the 10th all other bowling stopped. After the 11th the place was SO quiet. Kris took a deep breath. The ball was released, and the noise began. Nine pins were rolling and jumping all over, and finally took down the 10th. He turned around, pumped his fist, and came back to 10 minutes of congratulations.
Damn, I go bowling with my homiez all the time, and we always bet on the game, I'm always beating ass, and winning a grip of money, but there's no way in hell I'd even try to beat dude with a perfect score... I'd just be like "Nah, that's cool, my arm hurts... I can't bowl right now, I'll just hang out and get some nachos."
I'm sure that Kris' final pin drop of his 300 game has got to be repeating itself over and over in his head for years to come. Great job! I've seen a 299 once and that last pin is like making it to the superbowl and loosing it by hitting the uprights with the point-after kick.
I did ask this cop to take him in but he wouldn't do it, he just gave him a ticket and went on his way. the good news is that a couple weeks ago I went to the juvenile justice center and petitioned a court date to get him a probation officer, should be hearing from them very shortly, once that happens if he keeps screwing up eventually he will be placed in some kind of program where he can be watched 24/7. I'm so tired I wish they would hurry up, I don't know how much longer I can do this.
I was referring to the PP hunt, of course some of the mock hunts are very good and they are above 20. The cluse are usually better in the mock hunts. I am ready to dig this year, so I want a lot of snow, to hopefully prolong the hunt a bit...
what aw said, about both his and the hunts that went on this summer. all above 20 degrees, and all went to 10 or 11 clues.
Waaah The FawK!? Im prolly startn this on a negitive note, but to the clownz... MAKEUP IS FOR BITCHES! Must be a circus in town wit all this clown shit goin down... These are old by at least a couple days. They were in the moderated bin, waiting to be approved.
I e-mailed Bubba Moon and told him about contacting lance to get "Un-Moderated".
Skizzo doesn't have an addy showing up so, I didn't e-mail him/her.

Amen Ares, I have't looked at the adds yet... I will go do that, is there anything to good to pass up?
HAPPY TURKEY DAY EVERYONE!
not a whole lot that i saw, tim. certainly not anything worth getting out of bed at 4am tomorrow morning to get.
yeah, there isn't anything. unless you need a cd/rw drive they are really cheap. I also saw a few good deals on hard-drives. but I don't need any of that.

Glad you enjoyed your trip Tim!
Nice seeing you here LL. Hope things are going more smoothly in your life.
I haven't seen the ads yet, but there is nothing I would ever get up to hit Best Buy for early. That place drives me nutz. I avoid it at all costs.
Just think, before you know it, we'll all be stuffed full and ready for napping.
Enjoy!
I'm ready to nap now.

say what, ian?
Breezing through here during a break in hanging Christmas lights on the tree.
Brian's plane got in 20 minutes early so that was good. He got home here by the time his plane was supposed to have come in.
The turkey was perfect and so was the gravy. I am known for making good gravy, but this was the best I've ever done and I have no idea why.
Hope everyone's day was at least half as nice as ours was.
things are getting a little better over here, thanx ter. we had a great dinner at moms today but now i'm ready to sleep!
Glad everyone had a good turkeyday!
