you're not the only one who's been out scoping in tennies (or slippers as the case may be ;), and no shovel. if you want to talk hunt, we've got a whole thread dedicated to it here!
Earl and Case here too... Did you here the screaming? The power went out with less than 10 minutes left of the Royal Rumble. We were straight helly pissed.
Starting today, our office network has new software that limits where we can go. Obviously, I'm here. But the PP message boards are not 'appropriate' websites.
Rex, don't know if you ever got an answer to this question, but I checked with He-Man hubby, JQ. He said there are wool inserts that are warmer than the standard foam type. He said you may just need an insole--if you have "cheaper" boots, all there is between you and the ground is rubber. Then you'd need an insole to protect your toesies from gettin' cold. If you have a good boot and just want them a little warmer, wool is the way to go. Check Gander Mt, Galyans, or possibly Fleet Farm. Hope this helps! :)
I searched a few shoe sites and found that size EEE is not a real size, there are size EE(2), EEEE(4), and EEEEEE(6) -- can anyone show me size EEE somewhere?? I have researched triple E and for a very strong reason (in my head) have concluded that it is 8'4" where is something that's 8'4" wide and will always be open to all who enter ????? how wide are the cathederal doors? how wide are hospital ER doors? are ya with me at all?? any ideas
Chris, When I was a kid, I wore size EEE width shoes, so I know it used to exist. However, not many shoes offer the width (shoe shopping for me is a pain in the a**). I also can get by with an E now that my feet have grown some in length, so I don't get the EEE any longer. Stride Rite was the brand my folks used to get for me, if that helps.
I have a new spin on the "triple E" after spending hours at harriet, cherokee and kellog today I'm almost to cold to type. so I went for dinner and over hot choclate tonight have decided that "triple E" is as follows: triple = 3 E is capitolized to symbolize east and "E" is the 5th letter of the alphabet putting all of this together it leads me to 3+5+E = 35E. I'm going to guess crosby right now. it's on 35E & sheppard with a fire pit under a pavilion that has a huge vent going through the top of it. in the park it also has a "shelter" -- keep warm away from the storm plus this park requires more walking than most to get to the majority of it so less hunters are as likely to go as deep into the park. any thoughts to back my insanity????
Great ideas Chris! I actually had a few of the same thoughts...a bit different process but same line. It's only clue three though...they could be messin with us. we'll see what tonight brings to our theories.:)
Another good theory, Rex. Also have some good thoughts about Cherokee, mounds, Scheffer and Prospect. We should be able to eliminate some of these tonight!
Aight ya'll.... first off...if yer wondering where ive been, straight up.... my computer was messed up, so we got it fixed.... so now its all good and im back on here.
But straight up... there was like 20 thousand messages to go through, and since Shaggs has kept me informed of whats gone down... I aint gonna ask.... but straight up.... why aint no one been askin where ive been? What if I died or some shit, or dissapeared like them college ninjas? Damn...
Any how..... look for me and Shaggs to show up at the PP on thursday... considering, thats the same day ICP plays at the Quest, an we'll be there for sure.
If any of ya'll are actually thinkin bout going to it... dont 2nd guess your self... ya wont be dissapointed.... and you'll still have time to go home, shower and get to the PP if ya want to.
