For the record: Lee pulled me to Merriam and Me2 pulled us away from it!!:) Myself, Lee, Me2 and Kids searched Merriam pretty thouroughly during the day on the fourth clue. Kids was all over that baseball field...also the rest of us. Ah hell, what does it matter, the other kid found it...not us.
I was at about five parks all day today. Almost everyone of them had folks hunting. My opinion (HOPE) is that the PP was ingenius in HOW they hid it this year and not so much where.
I actually think it's out there. Say we did have a group of people out at a small park like Merriam. Comb the whole place looking for it. If it turns out it's there and nobody found it when everyone went through it before, that's going to look really bad. It has to be out there. Either well hidden or at a park nobody's really checked out.
a little comment from all the slogging: i consider a winter sports team from any country that doesn't have winter sports, that qualifies for the olympics as very successful
I'm not saying I didn't go with Me2 willingly but she is the one that had the connections to the clues and South St. Anthony...Me and lee bought them because they did make sense and we had already searched Merriam for two days before.
Probably half of all hunts ends when someone happens along, turns over a few shovels of snow and picks up the puck. You don't always have to be thorough. Sometimes luck is the biggest thing you need.
Mape Giu, can I turn in my guide to get it corrected? You know, for the longest time I thought Highland was spelled Hyland and Battle Creek was Buttle Crick.....
The pictures on King's Commons 1-20 pictures are a little off. The picture from MLK Rec are taken from the baseball fields at Capitol Hill. I'm not sure you can see the capitol dome from the angle you are at, when at MLK
Will you correct the small trees and the big trees? Sometimes I just get lost by the tree legend and forget what park I'm in...I guess I'm just not vewy good at this wittle hunt thingy.
Hay, Kids!!!
I, purrsonally, want the Stupidity-Read-Too-Much-Into-Every-Effin'-Clue version.
Oh! Baby Joe! Baby Joe! :D
Talk amongst yourselves while I go get a new Avatar.
Green, you want the Treasure Hunter's Guide for Dummies?

Kids, yur living in the past... That was LAST year!
Allie is at his sister's house right now and will be to Bugg's at 9:30pm, we have a cake for Allie, all is welcome.
Last year we at least had a hint of a little snow cover, there is absolutely nothing this year. Do you think they havent even made the drop yet?
But boss - honest! I was at work today. Didn't you see me there?
pulled me to Merriam and Me2 pulled us away from it!!:)
gotta stick up for my m&m even though i didn't know her that well at the time, but that's not how i heard the story :)
I agree with Kids. If we have replay of last year, I have torches in my basement for everyone to storm the PP with.:)
tHERE WE Goes.
yeah yeah yeah. whatever.
I don't know M2K3...
I don't think they made the drop early on last year...
However, if that's *their* standard rule, then they conformed to their usual, habitual practice.
And we pitched a fit for them not conforming to our idea of sportsmanship, i.e., that The Puck is dropped before the first Clue is out...
I don't know... I don't know.
If we knew their rules, we'd be ahead. As ittiz, well... I guess that's part o'the game we gots to figure out.
Map Guy!!!! That's perfect!!!!!!!!
I'm not saying I didn't go with Me2 willingly but she is the one that had the connections to the clues and South St. Anthony...Me and lee bought them because they did make sense and we had already searched Merriam for two days before.
