You'll have to register Duane. Then you'll have to e-mail Lance to get un-moderated. Might as well start that process now, because it'll probably be tommorow before you're able to post under your handle. I think Lance is a little overwhelmed right now.
My guess is she has the preferences set to remember her login. You'll need to change that and then login under your own name...or register if you haven't done that yet.
Sethmon - Usually Downtown Dave posts the clues here as he lives right by the PP and has been so wonderful to share. They get the clue at 11 so it's shortly after that.
Well, I was out a couple hours tonight (was a bit chilly, nothing I couldn't handle though) took a look at the well looked over harriett island, mounds park, and up and down the riverfront a bit. acting on a whim I drove through downtown, just to see if you could see the capital dome from rice or mears. Unless I wasn't looking the right direction, I couldn't. So I got back home and now I'm waiting for the next clue. Maybe one of these nights I'll have to show up an the PP and meet some fellow hunters. Perhaps I'll do that if it isn't found by thursday.
Just checking in. I did the Cherokee bit for a while last nite...some things really add up...but all of you experienced diggers out there know that at this point in the game, the clues really add up to alot of different parks. Funny, ain't it?
Puck - There's several parks that seem to work...but the tripleE and the warm shelter with wide doors is a bit of a puzzle that is hard to nail down just yet.
What I like about Cherokee and Mounds is that both the capital and the cathedral - faith anew (or however that went) are seen.
I don't have a favorite yet. It seems not enough years since it was at Cherokee last - not that there are rules for such things. Kellogg park downtown has a great view of the Capitol....right at the end of Cedar, where the Salvation Army kettle sits. Mounds seems fairly possible. Not ruling anything out yet.
Sleep? Naaaaaahhhh....it's the middle of January! Ask me in 2 weeks! Not that I regularly get all that much more sleep to begin with - I think I average 4-5 hours a night. Dropping it down to 4 or so isn't that bad :)
I was at kellogg tonight, it does offer some promising views of what's in the lcues.. though how they could hide something there.. not really sure.. I checked around a bit though.
triple E I came up with two ideas...1.) Eileen Weilda park                            2.) East Third street -downtown St Paul
Puck, I was down that way tonight, but must've missed the bus shelter your speaking of...or is it part of that park-n-ride lot south of lower afton rd?
I think I will keep my ideas wrapped in advantage wetlands camo if you don't mind! It looks like the Fairgrounds is in play with the clues so far...don't you think?
My problem is that I am not 100% convinced it is in St. Paul or in a park. If it was convinced, I would feel better about some of the parkes: Cherokee, Battle Creek, HI, etc.

Frosti, yep!
M2K3, nope!
Kind'a got a point there, Ter... Daught had it - you didn't. Still, same fam and all...
as of indoors, saint paul did have an indoor park, but they closed it last january... no more open.
Eileen Weida park has been mentioned as a possibility :)
You won't have to ask to be unmoderated if you follow the link back in the email that gets sent to you after the initial registration.

I think an obsure year is entirely possible. that means allot because i shoot down everything (even the real PP explinations of the clues)

you know,, the flag of the country that tripoli is in, is solid green.. (for green)
Mom - What's sleep? I argue with myself to just go to bed and read the clue in the morning. Then it gets closer and I have to wait.
After the clue comes all the noodling and thinking that keeps me awake long after I sign off this thing.
Hay!
I just had another o'my wild, stupid, come-into-my-head-from-the-aliens (I need to start wearing my aluminum foil hat again...)...
"Triple e"...
3M????
Nebber mind.
I'm gonna go talk to those that control me. The aliens.

While we wait - there's been talk for years of redoing the river front - making it welcoming. Could that be the wide door? The Mississippi?

I suppose one of these years it will need to be back at Battle Creek. For some reason, I've never liked hunting out in that park.
Oh and btw, has anyone checked out the scenic overlook between mounds and battle creek? right off 61 and south of the suburban target?
I think I will keep my ideas wrapped in advantage wetlands camo if you don't mind! It looks like the Fairgrounds is in play with the clues so far...don't you think?

No, Puck. Now you've tied in Africa (Tripoli)!!! Battle-Tripoli!
Again, there's no x-country ski-thighy at BC this year...
Hhhhuuummm............ Hhhuuummmm...
I, purrsonally, yust think the park reference means ittiz in a park. Thass all.
cute undies W.W!
You are probably right, Green.
PS The Fair Grounds are private property
