new daddy, i don't know about Mplwd suing. But the last year it was at Wakefield Park in Mplwd (mid 80's???), people tore up the golf course and the land so bad, they said it could never hid in their city again.
I don't remember the years anymore, but Maplewood was unhappy when the medallion was hidden at Wakefield - early 70's sometime. A few years later it was hidden there again by a different hider/cluewriter. That was then that Maplewood promised to sue the PP if they ever hid it again in Maplewood.
It's not an urban legend. It was very real and rather disgusting if you ask me.
That's different than how I remember it Regman. We hunted both hunts at Wakefield - but that's been many years ago now. Hard to remember all the details but being the Maplewood parks are owned by the city of Maplewood, it seems it's all one and the same.
1954 Hidden Falls Park – in a dead, hollow stump 1953 Cherokee Park – in a snowbank; State Fairgrounds – in a large bush near the Poultry Building (there were two chests hidden in 1953)
"When Minnesota became a territory in 1849, Pig's Eye was in competition with the towns of St. Anthony (now Minneapolis) and St. Peter to become territorial capital. The town fathers felt that Pig's Eye was an insufficiently serious name for the capital, so they decided to rename the town.
The only other landmark was St. Paul's Church, a 17- by 21-foot Catholic church on the bluff over the river.."
All joking matters aside... with all the controversy over their site, and people trying to decide what "forums" to use.. and with the Cooler Crew being all popular with the old site, and everyone knowing about it.... what better way, to get back at the crew, than to diss us straight back in the face with our own joke....
It starts with Crueler Crew, and "Lifer"... also makin fun of the crew... and BAM!!! "Leap"
it all leads to only one place....Its at the damn frog pond!
I don't think so no name. it's pretty far out from downtown.
We were talking about North St Paul earlier? Did we pretty much rule that out???
I wouldn't think you could see the dome from Phalen. Too much city between there and the Capitol. I haven't checked it out though.
I don't think anyone down there freezing their ass off is willing to share with us armchair hunters this evening, that's all!
no, you can't see shit from phalen
Actually depending on what time of year your there, you can see lots of shit.... mostly goose shit though
you know, I havn't seen leelabell or downtown dave and they are the ones that usually post it for us.

How come so many people on the list aren't posting?
I think its also been hidden at Keller before too.
