Snowmobile suits work really well... I get my hunting stuff at Goodwill. Scribe knows of someplace that like called 'Veterans' or something or other...

gonna have to check into that, I bought a pair of boots that said good to -20 degrees-YA RIGHT! mytoes were already numb standing in line at the PP!

Yeah... The toes seem - to me - to be the hardest thing to keep warm. If my feet are warm, I can go forever. But then they get cold, ittiz all over for moi.

yha green when i left they were going to get some thing to eat and think about the clues

Sun, 01/26/2003 - 9:06 AM Permalink
green

I get noththing, nothing!, from this last clue but "sole-lure." But then, that's not all that odd - given *my* track record! All the 'sun' thighys, kind'a leads me to Conway.

But there's no getting away from the carpenter's beau and walker. That's a dead nailer.

I'm thinking "wide as triple E" means that it will be in that area; i.e., you've got to see something - three 'e's someway - and use them as reference points, a distance. The Med's gonna lay within there, between the e's that are the fartherst apart. Did I xplain that rite?

Tho, it could be what The Med's hidden in. Doesn't necessary mean a large shoe... Could mean what The Med is in, in some instances, has the *capaity* to be as wide as triple E.

I wish I could be out there to SEE!

When I was at BC (I REALLY want it to be there) I found a large, GREEN sticky trap folded and stapled to a tree. It was full of spiders. Cold spiders.

That was last year's rules. This year, substitute The Capitol Mall for Harriet Island.

KT... I'd shure like it to be at BC, too. But...

I really don't think it there unless you can see Raspberry Island from there...

BC has my "soul-lure" panels. :D

I'm still cold from last nite. And it's cold today, I feel part of the colder crew. Whine-whine-sniff-pout

The one by the stream and "man" made waterfalls?

Yeah, me, too. When I saw that, and NOBUDDY else was even in the park anywhere... Well...

First I got ssssoooo scared that The Med had been found and it was all over with.

Then reality set in and I had to laugh at myself, "green - there is NO WAY you'd have aced the park and The Puck was found! You are in the WRONG park, AGAIN!!!"

So, I left! :D

Jake copied the pic, so I changed. It did turn out pretty good.

Hi folks, if you are going out, dress really, really warmly. I thought I was adequately dressed because I hadn't been cold before today. But, after about two hours of hunting, I couldn't feel my legs.

Scribe, Tim the Hunter, Pops, Ares, and Me2 are still there. The rest of us are home for a while.

Have fun!

I think the clues are great!

I'm so happy it's gone this far and hope it goes further.

I'm taking tomorrow off unless it's found today.

Evil, the clincher is "carpenter's beau near finish with walker."

Jamie Carpenter's bandshell on Raspberry Island is "bow" shaped and is termed/was awarded a Walker. I'm guessing the shell was built towards the end of HI's reconstruction.
