Venator: I see that your bi-line says "It is not in a park"; have you changed your mind? I looked around Scheffer quite a bit on Sat. Across the street is a house that has a hippie-like feel to it and one wall of the house is covered with American flags. Scheffer also has a flag company across Como.
I really dont believe it is in a park. It may be on a blvd near a park or rec center to be honest with u. but im just like everone else...grabbing at straws i guess. :) I been kinda looking around at the big parks but my attention this weekend has been Kellog. I really havent seen many people out and about. I seen like three people at Cherokee and one person at Harriet Island.
The Camo Crue - You know you're in the right park if the Camo Crue is there. Dan Fleming and Terry Knapp met each other while medallion hunting in 1984. They have since formed a lifelong friendship. Their group is known as the Camo Crue because they wear camouflage outfits while medallion hunting. Terry Knapp has hunted for the medallion for fifty years, having gone with his mother on the initial hunt in 1952 when he was only six years old.
Jaz, that's brilliant!!! Can you also see the GE thighy???
The Camo Crewe is this group o'men that have been hunting together for like 20, 30 years. They all wear matching camoflauge (sp) coats and hats. Neat guys. Very good on the noodling, very fun, very nice.
So? You did (which is the more important o'the two). I did. Very rarely do folks like my ideas - this year's been the when the most have been liked - but I always do! I mean, after all, they make perfect sense to me!!! :D
I still think it might be down on Shepard road below kellog park. there is a parcel of land where the queen delta parks there in the summer. the 'strolling' path extends for many a mile by the fish hatchery and back down on 61 which would be underneath Indians Mounds Regional but dont listen to me :) im not sure anymore with anything.
P.S. The rumor about Nick Coleman actually was in one of the papers, and last week on KQ. There was a person who said "oh, I didn't register this year". And someone replied . . . "Don't worry, Nick will make sure you are registered".
Just remember my warnings, ninjas.... stay away from the frog at como... unless your REAL desperate.... but then in that case... make sure you wash your hands or somethin.

World class? It did say "world" didn't it? Man, hope it didn't US greatest... That'd beee baseball which would beee Como, and me and VJ would give up hunting!
Not at all, venator. Not if that's what you truly believe in your heart that that's where The Med is.
LL, I LOVE the new .gif!!! You you gonna train the geese?
