You know, I really think it may be a misprint that HI is actually valid this year.....it never was before. Someone should call the PP and check.

Yeah Scribe, it was one of the only places open 24 hours a day. Nice for late night noodling or warming up after having dug.

Good Evening!!

Having a hard time deciding between napping now, so I'm ready for the BIG clue later, or going out and scoping around now. I'm leaning toward scoping now, and maybe getting a tiny nap in before clue time.

I haven't written HI off yet, but it hasn't felt right, so I don't think I'll spend any time there unless the next clue points that way. Going to probably have a look-sie at Scheffer, and another peek at Dunning.

Gotta get the urchins fed. Catch ya later!

Those courts, I think, are also along the bluff, in that portion o'Chair-O-Key that runs all the way to Wabasha.

Tell me, am I nutz? I thought it was Sandra Day O'Connor-Smith, but I'm not finding that on the Web. *Isn't* she SDO-S?????

Stupid Idea #2...

There's tons more to Chair-O-Key than what Guy's book shows. It runs all the way to the High Bridge on the east... Ittiz like little strips o'land along the bluff that are bisected by streets that dead-end there and all. There *are* baseball diamonds (there's your sport AND "precious"), in these strips, or at least one... I can see it in my mind, but I don't know the street. In looking at the map, it *could* be Congress Street - and that's pretty damn justicy, wouldn't you say?

Also, from up on the bluff, you can look down and see Raspberry Island and all that other stuff you gotta see.

Enkneeway, with it not being found at HI yet, well... What's like HI as far as seeing things and lining things up, but isn't HI? Well, Chair-O-Key...

Just my noodling. Take it for what ittiz worth.

Ian. There's Beau-regard street!

Mon, 01/27/2003 - 6:23 PM Permalink
Scribe

Anagramed French version possible?

Mon, 01/27/2003 - 6:24 PM Permalink
Map Guy

I may even make a palandromic version so that you could read it back-to-front as well as front-to-back.
