It is only right to have it in all styles and languages to celebrate the diversity of the hunt.

So, I'm too lazy to read the backlogs... Seems there's a lot of dreck polluting the board.

Can anyone report any hoards of people anywhere besides Harriet last night after cluetime?

Too many lurkers on the other thread, lots o scavengers. Its too late in the game to help them with our quest. Keep it in the Invite thread.

The deal is that nobody is certain yet and that if it is HI, IM, CH, etc, we want to reinforce the illusion that its too hard to pick this year.

Feel free to talk up Watson. I'm going back over there.

Harriet Island is a winner this year.

It holds answers to everything so far except the sports reference, and honestly, the people that _have_ been searching there have been searching in the completely wrong area. They're still hung up on keeping the capital dome in view, the reference of this I'm fairly sure is misleading. (and would be terrible tacky considering it'd be reusing it within recent memory, come now, these are good original clues by a good writer)

It's so far into the hunt that you should stop trying to extrapolate the clues into a park you haven't thought of yet and start trying to place the clues into the popular parks. Really.

And while I'd love for it to be Cherokee, it's just not making any sense with most of the strong references.

Hey, Regman. Do you like my Sherlock avatar better than the Noodly (wormy) skull?

I value your opinion.

Good ideas Matt. We want to talk about Watson for a while still.

I spent the day at HI trying to get results from the anagram, gab aloud --> daub a log. I looked at every twin, stump, tree, log that could be daubed (as in marked) or attached to a glob of mud.

No joy. I searched west end between Justus Ohage plaque and Kelly Landing and the boat storage. I searched east end all the way over to Navy Island stage.

Matt

Watson? The search for truth has something to do with Sherlock Holmes' secretary?

I'd entertain it for a minute had it not have to point people towards the fairgrounds.

I'll give it 2 more "possibility points" than I've given it in previous years because nothing says "St. Paul Park" yet.

That would give this idea... 2 points.

The Navy/Raspberry Is. stage was interesting: I met an architect who worked with James Carpenter designing the stage.

He didn't know where the med was either.

Well, I have to hand it to the clue folk. They've finally strung us along this far without giving clues out that could reference _everything_ until the Big Weekend(tm) (aka the last 4 years)

Big G: I'm rather bored by baseball, myself.

The fabled American pastime is baseball.

The most popular sport in America is football.

The most popular sport in the world is soccer.

The most popular sport in high schools today is hockey.

    Hmm..
