hey TSeeker, if you didn't buy the button, your chances of finding it increase 10 fold, ask the previous winners

THX: Why, of course. That's the only thing I have going for HI, unfortunately.

Are we thoroughly convinced that we should be looking for a hockey puck? Or some other puck?

Serves my memory that it's likely that if they're planning on a little/no snow hunt, it could very well be hidden in a clump of dirt. Up to date, it could be hidden in a clump of dirt buried under _just enough_ snow to not stumble across it when you're in the right location.

I could see this hunt going to the bitter pucking end.

Well, Mac, then you found more than I did about sports at HI. I never found that... And, too, I'm going on memory as I've not been out there since last year.

How can we not have found it by now down there, with all the activity and no snow?

It hasn't been dropped yet.

Mon, 01/27/2003 - 7:48 PM Permalink
JQsGal

See Green, maybe Croixwood could meet you and be kind enough to take you to where the medallion actually is, which is apparently not BC this year. LOL

green

Mac, you're a love... But, I'm bettin'chew that Croix's gotta work tomorrow, as I do... I've snot seen Croix here, but for this (I'd picked up on the name...).

Croix, don't worry a'boot it. Yust snot my year. But NEXT year we'll tear the parks up!!!

HI is still as strong as ever.

Just because one clue doesn't fit perfectly along the rest doesn't mean it automatically goes to another park where that one clue fits perfectly and none other.

Play the odds, people. Play the odds.

Forget about the capitol dome. The clue does not say it is required when you read it and take it literally as a good noodler should.

What time are people headin' down to PP? I hope to be there by 10.

men are shackled and can only see the shadows cast on the cave's wall by a fire. These shadows are their reality. But when one of them escapes into the sunlight, he sees that the shadows are not reality but illusion

The clues are BS

The Med izz in a park. And from seeing the Capitol dome, peak around...

Hello Fellow Hunters!!!

A nap does a person good.

The clues this year sure are better than in recent past. Lots of noodling and renoodling going on. It is a great sport, isn't it?

Say - with all those noodles - maybe the puck is hidden in spaghetti junction!

Hey Reg

noname86: I'd like to agree with you, but where else could it be hidden that would be safe to point people toward?

You've got to look at this from a slight liability perspective. Hide it in a 10' by 10' area in the middle of downtown.

_Should it actually go to the final clue where it has to date said_ "Go to this 10' by 10' area in
<location>," would it be reasonable to have a thousand people in a thousand vehicles with a goldrush lust in there eyes making a bee line for this location?

I simply can't agree with small locations or constricted traffic locations (like kellogg) as reasonable places for the medallion to be hidden. _People would get hurt if they all suddenly knew that it was in a place like this._

worlds most popular or played = soccer

worlds greatest can be opinionated but acording to the internet the worlds greatest sport (or watched) is formula one racing - go finger??

Danjo: HI has NOT been completely picked through.

I repeat, it has NOT been completely picked through.

The most likely locations of HI are still at large, and in charge. I spent several hours surveying the location. We'll see what tonight brings.

I've not given up... I'm yust one o'there kind'a folks that need a min o'eight hours sleep. Just the way I'm put together.

I can still beee here, until I effin' pass out!!! :D

Had I know of you sooner, Croix, I'd have made arrangements and BEGGED you to help get me out in the parks...

Whatever.

Just go. GO FIND IT. Gods, but I want a Cooler Head to win this year.

Mon, 01/27/2003 - 8:07 PM Permalink

Could not HI be the park to lure you... When you should really peak around?

1) A pitchers mound leading us to Mounds. Baseball is the the greatest american pastime.

2) The cluewriter knew that we would be going to harriet, so he/she wanted to tell us it wasn't there

3) The cluewriter knew that we would be going to harriet, and wanted to trick us by making us think it isn't there. The clue may have some other meaning.

so if the greatest sport was football-the two entrances to crosby are ellway (john ellway) and gannon (richard gannon) Now if I could just make all the other clues fit damn it!

Mounds is another park shrouded in liabilities.

Look, face it, people are stupid.

Individuals are usually smart and caring.

But people are stupid. If you haven't known, Mounds is not usually thought of because of the imbeciles who think it'd be cute or a good idea to dig up the [sacred] burial mounds the park was named after.

"THE MEDALLION MUST BE BURIED IN THIS AREA THAT SAYS "DO NOT WALK HERE! THE CLUES DEMAND IT."

Come on. If they do end up putting it in mounds,
<diety of choice> help the PR agent that will deal with the Native American Indian uprising again. You usually don't get more than one strike with these sorts of things.

Would not HI be the "sole lure" from Chair-O-Key? What other lure could there beee?

Mon, 01/27/2003 - 8:09 PM Permalink
green

And think o'the doubles...

Chair-O-Key izz a double [same image] for all that's seeen from HI.

Bait shop - lure; lure you there from Chair-O-Key.

Regman: Since you didn't read it when I posted it to everyone, I'll direct it to you personally and hope you will understand or at least talk about it.

The clue, when taken completely literally, does not say that a view of the capitol dome is necessary. Please read the clue.
