10.
With a car, you don't get far
And a horse would get you nowhere.
But celebrate, it's not too late
For round and round, you'll get there.

Oh my gosh!! This has to mean something besides como. What about a playground with one of those deals- a merry-go-round? Which parks have that?

But it say's horses get you no where.

    Terry

A car in the river wouldn't get you far...nor would a horse -

But paddlewheels going round and round would.

    medallionis venator

that sounds like the merry go round thingy by the portrait of Harriet Bishop near the pedestrian gateway by the pump station

    Mon, 01/27/2003 - 10:17 PM Permalink
    MedallionStallion

OK, I think the medallion is hidden in a park with a walking path, maybe one that goes in a circle. Maybe park has a merry-go-round.

    Mon, 01/27/2003 - 10:18 PM Permalink
    green

LL, you don't get anywhere if you're going in circles!!!

    Mon, 01/27/2003 - 10:18 PM Permalink
    mrmnmikey

it's not at the water in Hi but by the paddle wheel

medallionis : You can verify that it was a merry go round by that? I didn't look at the play equipment up close.

    Mon, 01/27/2003 - 10:19 PM Permalink
    Downtown Dave

I can verify, mucho activity at Harriet Island. I'd say 50 some cars, many lanterns. Like fireflies they are...

Dave: how thick is the snow at worst out there?

    Mon, 01/27/2003 - 10:23 PM Permalink
    lilslim

I think it means going up the river. You can't drive a car or go down the river on a horse. But on a boat you can, the Round and Round is the paddle boat...

I can't Green. I can't handle another night of cold. I have to, have to, wait till tomorrow. I am just making myself worse. (I will really probably kick myself in the morning).

    Mon, 01/27/2003 - 10:24 PM Permalink
    leelabell

Yes, a paddlewheel would. Also, a raceway is:

    raceway

n 1: a canal for a current of water (perhaps a break in the levee or the entrance to the marina)

I still believe it is on the west side of the park, not by the merry go round

    Mon, 01/27/2003 - 10:25 PM Permalink

But 'slim... Ittiz so late in the game. They need to be *naming* a park. The time for close things izz over.

    I think it's pretty apparent...

There's definitely a shift towards stringing the clues out for an anticipated little-to-no-snow hunt. I'm quite happy so far. :)

Now, _which things to try and line up before digging/kicking?_

And, _where do the unfinished clue pieces fit into the popular vote?_

    Mon, 01/27/2003 - 10:26 PM Permalink
    Terry

there is no merry go round there....just swings, slides, climbers, rings, diggers, bouncy toys and

A replica of a paddle wheel!!!!!!! That's part of the play equipment!!!!!!!!!!

I just don't understand why you are comparing it to the cocoa mocha clue. That actually named the park COMO. Where is the parked NAMED in this clue??

Oh, Stal... I WISH you were here!!! I really, really DO think I got it this year!!!

Doubt still I'd ever stumble across it - I'd let you do that while I snoozed in the car... But, ITTIZ Chair-O-Key!!!
