The PP gives the money to the one who finds it, and it's up to that person to divide the money among their partners. They don't write out seperate checks, and they can't split a trip to hawaii very well
Regman - this is not the first hunt with little or no snow. Check out Twincities.com for years that didn't have much snow and see what the 12th clues look like.
I would definitely expect this 12th clue to be different from previous ones. They won't make it too hard, because once that last paper is out, there's not much more left to gain by having the hunt last longer. But this year it seems a bit personal between us and the cluewriter, and I suspect we'll get one last curveball.

I dont think it has to be immedeately, but relatively soon after. I'm sure they give you time to get your clues you clipped out if you dont have them, you don't have to run to PP right away, but don't drag it out
That all depends on whether you believe in the spotter theory...but in reality, you would probably have time. I know other finders have gone home first.
I do see a bird sanctuary just north of the picnic shelters on the East Picnic Grounds, kind of in the same area as everything else, only it's not across the street.
