Saw the three finders on the news. All I have to say is that they ARE cooler Folk, we just don't know them yet...or do we? They were down in line at the press for several nights and dug up Harriet with the rest of us. One of the guys thanked the sponsors for the prizes but said the real spirit of the hunt is the Winter Carnival friendship and commraderie! PLUS they had registered buttons! These are my kind of folk! Congrats to them and thank Gawd no one got hurt last night!:)
I agree with you Green about the hard spot PP is in, and that overall it was a great hunt this year. But for those who are mostly in it for the fun of figuring out the clues and getting to the right park, you'd at least hope they'd not use "beau" to refer to a female, and that if they wanted to make a reference to Gollum in Two Towers (Not sure how that gets you to a bridge in a park that no longer exitst, but oh well) that they'd do a little research to get the phrase right- My Precious, not Me Precious.
