Ter, I will need a ride tomorrow. And if it snows, sneets, sleets, precipitates at all I'll need to be picked up here. But if clear and the roads dry and all, a meeting place closer in can be arranged.

Mom, that Ceasar salad sounds so yummy! I've not been getting my greens and veggies like I should and I'm really craving them!

I didn't realize that Frogtown and Como were so close... Gee. That's really way, way outta your way, Ter. Like WAY outta your way. Bummer. I hate asking you to do that.

If Q-Tgal's going for shure, maybeee (did you guys seee that Bee was here for a bit just recently?!!!!!!) it would be better if she came a bit east as she's got to go south anyway.

I don't mean to be or want to be a pain-in-the-arse, but I really do want to go to The Re-Hash Bash! I never asked anyone to come get me when Hunting - tho I did hint around that I'd really like it... - because I didn't want anyone to take the time from getting there to here and then bock there again. Didn't think that very fair...

But this izz a titch different... Sumbuddy please pick me up!!!!

I notice the "Who's Here?" list has dropped off tremendously since earlier in the week. I wonder if the other people around the People's Forum have been wondering what was going on? Was Lance impressed at the number of new users?

Good Morning!

Ittiz SO quiet at my house! I can hardly believe it. It's wonderful. Just getting ready to take a nice hot bath - without any "Mommy?" interruptions.

ALLRIGHT GREEN! Which is it then? Do you want that I should make the artichoke dip, or bring a caesar salad????? Both????

Mom, I don't care! :D The Goddess Dip is, always, wunnerful and there's history... But the salad sounds yummy, too! Have we ever had salad salad before?

I've still not decided what I'm gonna bring. May do the Devil's Den Eags to make sure I have some. LOL!!! And think will make up a few Pigs In A Poke, too.

I've been trying to think up something that ties in, like Ian's Sloppy Joe Medallions, or the Devil's Den Eags, but I can't get much from the clues (what's new! LOL!!!) and guess not being very creative.

Anybuddy ever hear anything anymore from that self-described Redneck from NC who came to MN ice fishing and we all met him at the airport. I know his name is Mike, but can't remember what name he posted under!

CRAFT!!

Eags - Moon, Quarter Moon, is the Mike you're thinking of. I've heard from him a bit now and again by email. He's doing well...teachng political science and happy. With the teaching, the ice fishing isn't in the plans this year.

Sad day with the the shuttle news.

I'm just so distraught over this shuttle incident. My troop is getting together and going to be putting out all the flags. A sad day in history. :(

Sat, 02/01/2003 - 9:13 AM Permalink
Eags

Glad he's doing well...say "hey" from Eggs if you should happen to think of it, OK?

Yes, such sad news. Just gives me chills to watch/listen.

Freezing rain in the forecast for tomorrow?

Sat, 02/01/2003 - 9:16 AM Permalink
green

Marnin', MJ. Yeah. I was in San Antonio when the last shuttle blew up... I'm trying not to think of today's tragedy. We've had so much in the last two years. I've got the TV on, but trying not to listen to, tho I can't help but.

Maybe that's bad of me, trying to ignore it and act like it's not there. But I just can't deal with bad very well here lately. It's too easy to get the panic attack stuff going.

'mom'

EAGS - Thanks for the newsflash!

Having already read the paper, I likely wouldn't have heard anything about the shuttle till who knows when.

Trying to go on with our day as normal though. While out last night, we saw a ton of stuff on sale at Kohls - 70% off some of it, other stuff was 50% off the clearance price. Mainly looking at kids clothes. Can't seem to keep them in the right size.

So, we're heading out there in a bit...

I've got a feeling The 6th Annual Re-Hash Bash izz going to be greenless... It will beee if there's freezing rain.

Green - If the roads are icy, all bets are off that we'd make that trek out there and back. Otherwise we can figure it all out. Driving on ice from here to Como would be enough for me.

Word has it, Mom, that bricks on the noggin' work. At least I think my grandmother thought it would.

Thanks for understanding, Green. Hopefully the weather thighy will change and the ice will stay away.

I need to make an Office Max/Kmart/Target run this morning so I'm outta here for a bit.

Keeping fingers crossed that any adverse weather thighy for tomorrow is wrong.

Been hearing from my friend at the PP. She said it's amazing how many folks get in there on a Saturday morning with the big breaking news. Sounds like the paper will be fairly large tomorrow to cover all this.

Sat, 02/01/2003 - 9:28 AM Permalink
green

The Pigs In A Poke could always beee assembled there, if I have to run out and get that stuff tomorrow if it looks like I can make it.

I'd yust have to forget the Eags, thass all.

A contingency plan can always beee found! :D
