That's a beautiful family picture... I hope Ian sees it, I'm sure he will, so that he can copy it.

Rex, you'll have a blast. People all over, talking about every aspect of the current year's hunt, and all those past ones they've been a part of.

While the Re-Hash Bash izz for decompressing over this year's Hunt, it actually does deal with all years one's hunted. I find it fun to listen in on the convers about past years when I never knew about The Hunt or didn't live here. You'll hear/learn so much about hunts 10 years ago, 20, 30. Ittiz so neat...

People laughing, people crying (usually just me...), people hugging - you don't gotta hug, but don't be surprised of you DO get hugged! :D

Stories of how each and everyone o'us came into our first hunt... Our fav years, our most hated years...

There is no better way to lay to rest an ended Hunt than The Re-Hash Bash. It just feels rite, you know? We're all in the same boat - waiting for...

That Snoopydogg ninja was banned from the Puck Posse, I guess he got into an arguement with that Hollywood chick about a buncha stuff, and was being a complete dick. He had a different name over there, but had Snoopydogg at the P.P. boards.

Hey Marley! Good finds!!

The Coon Rapids one sounds good. I used to know Coon Rapids better than I do now.

My sister lives in North St. Paul. I can see if she knows anything. (She's not a hunter though so who knows what she's paid attention to or not.)

I was going to go to bed. I think I'm too wired.

Yeah I grew up in coon rapids allthough I never heard of the snowflake days until last year! But I still know Coon rapids parks very well.

I heard from a lady in the parks about the north St. paul hunt she said it starts around feb 8 and was worth $2500.00 and you could find out info in the local paper!

Are you going to sign us up as the Cooler Crew, or Crueler Crew? ;)

It will be at the West Picnic grounds pavillion. Where the last re-hash bash was at Como.

green... Alone in a bar???

I work in No St. Paul!!! Doesn't mean I know the place or will be any better at the clues, but at least I'll beee close and could get out into the park(s) or stores or whatever rite after work - maybeee on my lunch hour.

What's the local paper and where do I find it?

There's a hunt during Lumberjack Days in Quiet H2O, and I tell you... Ittiz lamer than a pigeon-toed duck!!! Damn thing is always found like on the second or third clue. The very first clue always tells you what park the coin or whatever ittiz iz in. If you're not here in town when the clue comes out, forget it. Ittiz such a joke as compared to the PP one. Makes me appreciate and love The Medallion Hunt all that much more.

Having trouble sleeping - afraid I'll over sleep today... So, got up for some water and found myself on here... Answered a couple o'posts from over at The Planet - looks like we may have one or two o'them folks showing up today. NEAT!!!

Well, bock to bed. TODAY'S THE RE-HASH BASH! HOORAY!!!

Good Marning, Ter! And Good Marning to all 'Heads still sleeping! TODAY'S THE DAY!

That was a good article! He'd written one earlier where he was talking with his son about the hunt. I like his garage logic.

I never knew Soucheray hunted! How fun! I wish he could join us, bet he'd be a laugh a minute to talk to. And see, Ter? You aren't the only one to have had The Puck and then Not Had The Puck. I wonder just how many o'you are out there... Bet more than we'd ever think.

I, too, kept having werid dreams. I think nitemares. And like you quit fighting them and got up. Having my coffee while you have your Coke. This should mean I *should* be ready when my chariot arrives! :D

I think what he meant was she dropped the diaper back into the snow once she found the medallion in it. And then she left it there without throwing it away like she was complaining about when she found it.

Hope y'all have a wonderful time at the Rehash Bash. I will be there in spirit, for sure, and will raise a glass of hot chocolate and drink a toast at high noon.

Please give my best regards to Everybuddy.

Long live the Cooler Crew!!!

Good Morning X 2!

Allison - Four guys found it the year of the diaper. Check out the coolercrew site for 1993. She dropped it with the medallion still in it.

Eags - Sure wish you were there in body as well as spirit. One of these years you'll be there 100%.

I did go back to sleep for a bit. Sure felt good. Now I'm trying to wake up so I can finish packing up stuff for today.

Mornin'Sams! Looking forward to today! Was up early to make my hot dish- with corn, for THX. I officially named it "Hedda Gabler Goulash". It was that or "French Immersion Suprise", but I think that one would be made with something like Spam, brie, and Velveeta. Does any one think we'd need extention cords, or a power strip, I've never been to this particular area...

I'm sure looking forward to putting faces with names again this year. Somehow I always picture someone by their login name and their conversing here. I'm never close in how folks actually look so it's much better to get the real picture.

Last year, we were on the road there when it was found. And we already had family stuff planned for that Sunday, not thinking it would be found that early...was thinking the odds of the Rehash being that Sunday were slim.

Well, I'm dusting off my fond memories of gigs, hunts and bashes past, and looking forward to many armchair and in-person hunts in the future.

That's cuz we've met on previous occasions, KT!! You are just too much. Looking forward to seeing you again.

And power strips might not be a bad idea. If I recall, anything that got plugged in the last time was plugged in around the outside walls of the pavillion. I don't recall there being any outlets except along the outside walls.

I don't have a power strip, but I will bring an extentoin cord, or two. See you all there!

I think it is really cool that he had a medallion dream during the hunt, and that, last week, when he saw a water cooler in an office we visited, he remarked, almost automatically, "Look...Cooler Crew". He's slowly, but surely, getting hooked.

Looked at the Geocaching sites and we have several close to us. I'm thinking to give it a whirl.

I thought you two met that time at Crosby?

Sun, 02/02/2003 - 8:55 AM Permalink
Terry

Yup! You just need to get him hooked.

There was a hollywood chick on the PP boards from California. Never been to St. Paul...but mentioned Como early on during the hunt. She had the park nailed but had never been here.

Going fro to get the rest of the stuff packed up.

Eags, Da'Yooper's falling... And fast! Hehehehe! Tell him *I* don't know the parks! Well, better not... He doesn't want to be as dumb as me! Still think they were talking chariots - it was in CHAIR-O-Key, but you could see HarrIOT.

Oh, well. I did get the first clue rite! :D

Hoo-Haa! The green one izz ready! :D

So, I'm sitting in the tub... And all of a sudden I remember that the last time I went out on the porch to put the second batch o'Eags out there, The Kid went out. And she didn't come back in!!!

I was outta that tub and out on the back porch - bare-ass necked as the day I was born!!! - in a heart beat! Swooped up The Kid, found the Eags to bee unharmed, and jumped bock into the tub!
