I'm back. It was a rather slow drive home but otherwise made it with no problems. I'm feeling pretty tired now. It seemed the event went pretty well though. As usual though there were too many people there to meet and not enough time to meet them before they get cold and head home. Maybe we should start pondering indoor events.
Terry- As long as you're in town this week, I suppos I could just come by and get it sometime. I believe I plan on being in that area Tuesday night.

I think this year I will release them at 6pm since last year I often had to be somewhere by 7pm. But releasing them at 6pm gives people a chance to get the clue and then still go out that night and go look for it. It will be a 12 clue hunt with one clue a day. I'm not sure yet what the prize will be. Last year people contributed money to the pot. I guess we'll see if they do again this year. Otherwise I'll find something for the prize though it may be a bit modest.

Truely the Cooler Crew is a group of the most special folks on the planet! Thanks to all of you for making the Winter Carnival Medallion Hunt a special and rich event for me and my family! East Digger, thank you so much for the drawing! I am now on a new hunt for the perfect frame! I wish you could have seen my fifteen year old daughters face when she saw it!LOL!
It will be basically the same, excpet for that I try to accomplish whatever it struck me that the PP failed to do. Last year they had a short hunt, so I tried to make a long hunt. This year they had clues that were unsolvable, so my goal will be to have clues that are tricky, but still solvable.
Last child is in the bath for the night, the laundry is backed up....waiting for the dryer to finish. I haven't updated my quicken for a couple of weeks - okay, most of January...and I really should do that tonight, but I'm not really inclined to.
Dad's on his way to Savoy's to pick up a pizza - can't wait! I'm starved!

The snow is so nice... I loved the fire down at the pit. I was so warm and everything was so pretty and ethreal (did I spell that rite??).
All the regulars that have joined over the years... New babies not met before... New folks that had been lurkers or Un-Believers... Kids that were babies that are now youngsters or young men and women...

What was the consensus on the date for your hunt? Will it be in March or ??
Allison - that could work. I will probably be doing overtime Tuesday - but Inks should be here. Call before you stop to be sure.
An indoor event would be nice - after we rest up some from this hunt.
