There are two private bedrooms, a loft, another room with a sofa sleeper and the hot tub, and then a sofa sleeper in the living room. Rooms will be assigned based on who pays first. Nothing has been assigned yet.
Is this the first of such weekends?
If it goes well, it might be, although in my experience it's harder to get something like this to work the second time as well as the first, so it's quite possible it may be the only one unless I sense a lot of solid demand for another.
Dan &I are intrigued... It's a can do thing, but we need a bit more info, and a day to decide if we want to do this.(I'm having doubts as to whether D. can be up there and not fish...)
He could spend some time fishing if he wanted to, perhaps Saturday during the day or Sunday on the way home. We could even write it into his character.
Is this primarily a "singles" thing? ....So many questions...
It's a joint venture with my singles club, but as for what it will primarily be will depend on who primarily signs up. But being a murder mystery, I'm thinking it may be good to have some diversity int he characters as well as people who don't all know each other.
its all a simple plan... get a job (hopefully one thats gonna be around for a while, and not have to lay people off)... and then get a car.. and then start hitting up bars/nightclubs/wherever else people hang out at.. so I can meet some ladies.

and then they never call back.. so I call them, and they act like they've never talked to me before.. and go "well.. let me find the app, and call you back"
and then they never call back, so I call them back a couple days later.. and can never get ahold of them again...
it happens ALL THE DAMN TIME!.. it just sucks ass.
If leaving them threatning messages, would help, I'd try that... but then, if they actually did decide to call me back, it would ruin my chances for workin there.
If they are gonna treat you that way then you don't want to work for them anyway! find a place with some class J. have you ever tried top temporary? my bro got his job that way, alot of it is just temporary stuff but if they like you sometimes the companies will hire you on full time.

I dont think id try Top Temp though... seeing as how my mom worked for them for like 15 years or so, at the Payne Ave location and was one of their best employees... and they shit all over her... her and basically the whole company walked out on the same day.. a long ass time ago.
She's said before that she doesnt want the family name associated with them ever again...

Ive worked retail in the past.. mostly overnight stock type stuff.. but Ive done ALOT of stuff in the telemarketing/sales business too.. but those jobs dont really seem to last that long either.. if your not hot right away, they dont want you. Ive done a couple jobs, where it was office work... entering info on computers and filing things away....

I know basically that if I can get hired on someplace... even if I dont know alot about the job, I can learn real quickly... thats one thing that past employers have liked about me... that I learn fast.
J- do you have a resume put together that employers can look at? A coworkers hubby is going through the same thing you are with the job search. She's been finding a lot of jobs posted on the internet for him, but not so many in the local papers. Those are the ones that are looking for resumes to be sent to them, not so much as an app filled out. I can find out what sites those are if you're interested.

I have resume's at like 4 or 5 different websites, to where If I need them, I can just go ane e-mail them right to the place im applying at... but recently.. ive just been kinda trying my thing, at walking in someplace that I either know is hiring, or have heard is hiring, just from someone else... and talking to managers/owners.... so far.. nothing has come from either one... online, or inperson stuff... and its been almost 2 months now, that ive been outta work again.
Most places had told me... both from the online apps, and actual in person apps, that they would be hiring after new years....and that they would put mine near the top, cause they knew that I wanted work.. and would be available ASAP... but so far.. nothing.. no call backs, and no one seems to be around, when I call them.
