I guess I shoulda been more specific on the 'how to go' -

Hey, what happened to those nice photos from earlier today? Do you guys see them? I wonder if my work firewall won't allow me to even view them because of the properties associated with them. Weird.

If you're going to party, be sure to raise your glasses in our absence to great friends and the internet that keeps friends in touch.

will do, terry. it doesn't really matter to me either. i'm dozing off in the chair here. which probably means it'd be a good idea to crawl over into the bed.

I'm heading to the bed too. Big day ahead tomorrow here.

Pick up mail

Get some groceries.

Secure the garage door.

Take down the Christmas tree and decorations.

Make homemade spaghetti sauce for dinner tomorrow night and the rest for the freezer for Valentine's Day on Friday.

Seems to me that if you were to stand bent over on all fours, then you could probably go standing up as it were.

And while I'd like to join you tomorrow, I have a big date Saturday night. (it's not the woman in West Virginia if anyone is wondering, but we've agreed to see other people until we can arrange to meet, and this belly dancer asked me out, so....)

On the Discovery website they are having a vote on the next type of vehicle they are going to build, an anti-riot, rock climber or an Ice fishing vehicle. Can everyone get in and vote for the ice fishing one?
This is the address for the pole.

http://dsc.discovery.com/fansites/monstergarage/poll/poll.html

You can vote twice in a day from an IP address. All the help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Got this in our email this morning. Number one child finally has his Peace Corps assignment!

I got my Peace Corps assignment yesterday. I'm going to Guatemala. I leave May 3 or 4. A little sooner than I thought and I have to see if I can take my finals a little earlier 'cause then I'll only have one day to really be at home. My new job is Agroforestry Extension Specialist. Basically, my job is to help local foresters make decisions on how to get the most money from their agriculture and forestry products while protecting against pollution. Should be interesting. At least now I'll get to use my Spanish!! That and I'll be in central or eastern time zone. :)

woo hoo! monster garage! that's gotta be my favorite show on tv right now.

They're gonna turn a school bus into a party pontoon! I can't wait to see this one!

Congrats Frosti and Running Chick!

Sounds like an interesting assignment for your son Ter! Is that what he's going to school for? It sounds like good experience, he should be able to transfer that forestry experience here to MN if he wants to! (we should be getting our DNR land management plan this week sometime)

that episode's a rerun, artemis. i've seen it several times now. my personal favorite was the firetruck/limousine.

Yup. It fits his education. His masters is in Park Resource Management and Forestry. He was originally slated to go to the middle Asian 'istan countries to help them set up national park systems, but he has some exema. That requires he be placed where there's good dermotology care available if needed so it's Quatemala instead! I'm relieved. Being that close to the middle east right now gave me the willies.

plus, like he said, it puts him in roughly the same time zone as you are. makes phone calls a lot more convenient across the board.

And I think one could drive there from here.

I've spent quite a bit of time checking out stuff on the net today. In that climate, his skin issues shouldn't be a bit of a problem. It's the cold dry stuff that sets that off.

Only bigger issues are hurricanes, volcanoes and drug trafficking. Intersting place.

yeah, terry, but you can get those without even leaving the continental us, if you want to look at it from a different perspective, though not all 3 in the same location.

and with that, i'm gona hit the sheets. nite 'heads.
