I actually got a compliment yesterday from the woman in West Virginia. She said she thought she was lucky to have me which I think may be the nicest thing she's said to me.
I swear though David- I seam to look forward to something wonderful and it always turns out bad...the re-hash-I couldn't wait! then all that stuff happened-believe me when I say-I took most of it out on Ares---thanks again Ares.

Like inviting someone over for dinner and then for some reason they can't seem to swallow the food? hehe
Personally I find that the bad things that happen seem to multiply when you acknowledge them. One thing just seems to lead into another. But if you don't pay much attention to the bad things and just work through them while keeping your eye on the good things, the bad things seem to just fade away.
Women don't generally go after guys because of their physical appearance nearly as much as men go after women for that reason. So it's lees likely a woman would bother looking in the first place. Women tend to be more drawn to men for their ability to provide (yes, I know, very stereotypical, but quite often true nonetheless).
So it seems to me that if a woman admires a guy's car or house or something like that, that's the same as a guy looking at a woman.
How is it "shallow"? Isn't it shallow to be worried about the fact that a guy is just looking at a woman? Maybe the guy is worried the woman will run off with the other guy because he has more money and can offer her a better life?
I think more women look for maturity in a man not so much what they have or can give ( we call them gold diggers) no woman wants a man that is gonna act like a 20 yr old and be out drinking and partying all the time. I have a friend going through that right now, her husband just doesn't want to grow up and it's starting to take it's toll on her.
So what's the hurry about knowing when the next hunt begins?
I've heard a few folks talking that there will be an ice castle next year and that the whole winter carnival thing will be week later to accommodate that castle. Don't know if it's true or not, but we'll be there no matter what.
The first ice castle i remember was when i was just a kid. It was down town you could walk around inside them then. It had to be some time in the late 60's.
Basically the only one I remember real good, is the last one we got... the Harriet Island (real medallion hiding spot) one... I know there was more before that, that I had seen... but... I cant really think of any, or picture any...
My sister on the other hand... is always talkin about the one that was at Phalen, and how it basically ruined the island for a long ass time, cause they had to fill in the "river" thing, down on the end where the stone bridge is, with a buncha dirt.. and it took a long time for it to go away.
You never answered my question either :-P

No problem. But there's no need for all the extra w's. hehe
I have only noticed 2 guys ever that have been 'eye catching' in 10 years of being with Mark.
That's 2 too many young lady!
I have found that men have more trouble with balancing this than women.
Why do you say this?

Hi Leelabell
Nope, I am not on Yahoo, will be on tomorrow at work - just heading out to bed.
Hi, THX

How was your trip, Leelabell?
Missed you at the rehash.
The rehash kind of sucked for me because I wasn't feeling well. I got hit with a cold the night before while we were at the Vulcan Victory Dance.
Yeah, THX, I read that you weren't feeling well - sorry to hear that.
Trip was fine - lots of work, didn't do anything fun.
I had a bad time overall at the re-hash too- I didn't get any of Ian's sloppy JOES! :(
One of these days I'm gonna go through this thread and see what I missed during the hunt.
