It's time for the Medallion Hunt! The first clue will appear on PioneerPlanet just after midnight Saturday, Jan. 22. Come back here to compare notes with other treasure seekers, but be certain you read the rules on the Planet's Winter Carnival page.

I think I covered this about an hour ago but if your here to toss insults back and forth get lost. The rest of us would like to toss ideas about the clues around without your childish interference. Thank You.
Whatever.... I really am sick of people getting on here acting so rude. Nobody thinks you sound "Cool" I think you sound like your about 12 years old! ( which is sad that some 12 yearold kids actually act like that) AND DON'T call me A whore.
Don't any of you remember a few years back when it actually WAS in the capitol mall? I was pretty young back then but I remember my dad and uncle being out there along with about a thousand other people.
No one is at Cherokee Park looking, as far as I know. Why would I even want to drive 2 blocks to check that out? To tell them they are fools to think it would be there? I'm heading back to the high lands! There were no statues there. The iconoclasts took them all away.
Battle creek has flying down hill 9-5-4 baseball basket ball, double tennis, and a school near by.. but most parks do except for the flying downhill which i don't think refers to sledding.
Eagle Eyes: Well, that oughta keep folks on their toes, eh? I picked that name about this time last year. Thought an eagle eye would help find the medallion. Only thing I found was a good parking spot and someone's lost glove. Great thing was the glove got reunited with its owner because he mentioned here that he lost it, I mentioned where I saw it, and he went back and got it! Lost and found on the Internet! Hope you have as much fun with the name "Eagle Eyes" as I've had with "Eagle Eye"!
They didn't always hide it in a park. It was actually hidden under 35-E once! But I agree in that I don't think the Capitol Mall is actually a park. Besides, can you get it fit all five clues?
The flying downhill at Battle Creek i think refers to the airport that is located behind the park. And the iconoclast could refer to James J. Hill, the railroad tycoon because the railroad tracks are by the airport as well
G'night, er, G'morning all. I see I have to slog thru *gulp* a heckuva lot of messages since I left 4 hours ago. What're the odds that someone had a giant revelation that I missed?
oh amy bo-ho, learn to take a joke, tell you the truth i'm a 24 year old doctor, i graduated high school at the age of 14 and college at 20 then became a certified doctor at 22, you got to loosen your self up and learn how to have some fun because your going to wish you were me a couple days from now when i find it.
Tonight I drove to Highland, Como, Newell, Mounds, Phalen, and went to the capital, the only people at the capital were the channel 5 news, why i don't know... So I don't think it is , nothing was dug up at all, not even any footprints..
I seen some people up in battle creek earlier today...haha my friend Joe lives on McKnight, I didn't know he lived by there til we drove past it today, I don't have the 1st clue about St Paul haha!
It seems to me they've used a water and woods clue two years in a row, and maybe some others. I think downhill flying is sledding because at Como the sledding is on the golf course and they wanted to make doubly sure people stayed away from it.
You haven't missed much of anything bronco fan. People are just getting hostile. They wanted to find it on the first clue I think. Otherwise just kickin around the same thoughts.
Someone last night metioned a library by highland park, but when I was there tonight I couldn't find the library, someone also said that it had to do with a hidden meaning in the clues..

Scott: we gotta go right when your done with hoops
maybe it is chopped up and a piece of it is in each of the parks!lol

Ok hunting H impress us with your wisdom. show us the truth!
I don't think it has to do with sledding either because they used that in a cluse last year (Rosebud).
The "4" means it's FORE us not u!!

I can't wait to get some serious digging in!!!
Woodduck - we'll see with #6.
So we can get some searching done in the daylight...

I think its been found
Does anyone like this one? Lucifer was an angel in heaven before he was cast to haites (hell) making him iconoclast. Hence "Devils Den" in NP!

Not too high, Bronco Fan. Everyone's just kicking around the same old ideas. The clues are really ambiguous this year.
HAAAAA HAAAAA - I love it. Good one bird!!
Thats right, I remember that too Nick, and for the record it has been in a location other than a park in the past (actually pretty often)
and also
the capitol mall IS considered a park
Hunting: can I call you Doogie Howser???
You haven't missed much of anything bronco fan. People are just getting hostile. They wanted to find it on the first clue I think. Otherwise just kickin around the same thoughts.
Honey Hermy, why don't you put up your real e-mail address??
Can't we just start a chat room? This takes so long.
DUFF, BRIAN S., ask about any clues and i will provide the most logical answer
I have a hunch
Has any body come up with a good idea about last nights clue other than a school. I am having a hard time getting earlier discussions to come up
Tell Me the 9 5 and 4.
went to the spot tonight where i thought for sure it would be and all the snow was dug up abd every thing was n its placwe according to the clues
I don't think downhill flying refers to airplanes because flying in an airplane isn't much of a thrill and God forbid it become an outdoor activity!
Someone last night metioned a library by highland park, but when I was there tonight I couldn't find the library, someone also said that it had to do with a hidden meaning in the clues..
Birdie: will you e-mail me the stuff about the four so me and Scott can check it out?
