I spent a fullfilling day at the laundromat, running errands, cleaning and re-arranging. More cleaning to do tomorrow, and maybe a well needed haircut, then back to work for another week. I feel good, tired, but good.

I took a Friday off of work a couple weeks ago and spent my day just hanging around the house.
Scribe and the kids were all in school so I just played games, played on the computer, watched some movies.
I had a great time!

In my youth I would have played games. Now I go hang out in bars (although I still don't drink).

I don't remember exactly when Jake's was, I only remember that he was a Pisces. It's easier to remember signs than birthdays and you usually get at least half credit for remembering that someone's birthday is "coming up".

What happened to your laptop?
the dvd-rom drive was more or less shot, and one of the media-bay latches lost its springiness. and now that the dvd drive's been replaced, its having power supply issues. namely that the power supply's not being picked up when its plugged in, and its managing to shut itself down, no doubt either to the laptop drawing too much current, or a short somewhere in it.
