Submitted by Casey Trauer on

It's time for the Medallion Hunt! The first clue will appear on PioneerPlanet just after midnight Saturday, Jan. 22. Come back here to compare notes with other treasure seekers, but be certain you read the rules on the Planet's Winter Carnival page.

Hermy,

I was just trying to ignore you but I couldn't resist the old you cant handle the truth, so I had to be a smart ass. Once we find the right park, which I don't think many people have then all the clues will make fit.

Allison: I tried sending you an email message but it did'nt fly. I'm willing to look with you for say an hour. I can meet you where I think the clues lead; you got me there earlier this evening. I'll park by the legendary numbers. I drive a white Corolla....duke

Well, if there's not much new, I'm still voting for, in order 1. Newell (great point on Devil's Den, Scott) 2. Highland - becuase there's no big reason to rule it out 3. Capitol - becuase my obscure mind can fit the logic.

Hunting H- I don't believe what you say because nobody with an education like that would use your language and I don't appreciate being called a whore so don't TELL me to loosen up till youlearn to grow up and watch your mouth a little. And if you think your going to find it.. you obviously DON't need to be on here with us. )just an idea)

I'm afraid to log in. It's where I ususally have problems. Seems like taking the pictures off has certainly helped. Thank goodness. Wish me luck. Here we go....

Yea! It worked! New Daddy - I was wondering the same thing. Doesn't seem like anyone has discussed last night's clue in any depth at all. I'm not convinced of the school thing either since it says "yearning for something worth learning" not "a place of learning"

The "iconoclast" reference means it's in a flat area. An iconoclast is someone who goes against the norm. Who went against the Norm? Skip Humphrey. So look for a spot that's hump free! Or maybe it means that your supposed to skip that and go for a hilly spot. ;)

Wow I can't believe how many a$$h*les they let in here, I thought this was supposed to be about the Medallion, but instead all I see is the same thoughts repeated over and over and over (you might get the point by now) again, and 12 year old kids at thier daddies computer telling everyone how dumb they are.

Allison: Yes at Como...I'm pretty sure it's the area you described in your posting this afternoon at about 2:30. I think the clue you aluded to earlier about water and arson puts us in the same place...I suppose we should wait to see if your predications hold. If they do. I'm only about 5 minutes away...duke
