North Valley is mostly a southpaw course. I'm a dart freak too! I have a kick ass electronic board in my 4th level. The whole room revolves around it. I've lost the talent that I once had though. Darts seems to be the type of thing that isn't like bike riding to me. I fell off and I've needed training wheels ever since.

Timmy Gill?
Yeah, pretty sure. I don't wanna rip on him though. It could be one of many people that screw it up and I know he takes his own time to help put that thing together, but players that aren't that good still end up paying more than the published fees and end up getting squat even if their in the top three. I always walk away with a good bounty but the people I play with decided to boycott the tournament for the last three years because they keep raising the prices and are never consistent with what's printed in the paper or on line. Do you know Tim? How about Chuck Kennedy?
Not too different. The big change is the one I mentioned before where 17 goes from on top of that hill at old 16 tee all the way to old 17 pin. We all figured that they would change it back after the Worlds but they kept it anyway. Even through the winter set up!. They tried adding a few extra holes this past summer in that area to the left as you come in but it really didn't catch on to much plus it confused the players that didn't know about it thus messing up the shooting order.
I met Timmy Gill at the Majestic. Hes the guy who goes to Kaposia with the Discraft truck and sells discs. I dont know him personally, though. I think I met Chuck once, but dont remember who he is. Is he the guy who owns GGGT and manages tournaments.
Chucks the course pro for North Valley. He's the only guy I know who's been playing longer than me. My brother is the course pro for Cottage Grove. And what would Kaposia be without the 'druggies'? since they fixed up hole #10 down in the ravine, there really isn't the big hangout that there used to be for all that partying going on.
I'm sure I have seen ya Reg. But you know how all of us seem to look alike after awhile. You're a younger guy aren't you? Me and my buddies are usually the oldest guys on the course. You can't miss our gray hair and beer bellies. Just like darts, I'm not that good any more. I hit a plateau and didn't really experiment that much more to get better. We mostly use it now just to get out of the house and have a few.
WOW!! Are you sure you're talking about 'disc golf' and not 'Frisbee Golf'? ;-) JK You're right though. It's definitely a sport where there are quite a few partiers. (like ares) With all the idiots out there (not areas) I keep pushing for them to charge $1 to play. That way the morons would be too cheap to clog up the course with their BS. I actually had a guy who was part of a crew of 10 who seriously asked us if they could play through our team of 3. At first we laughed and then he said that they would be really quick. And that's even when you could obviously see that there were 3 teams backed up in front of us down in the hole. Well the funny thing was that they ended up just jumping in front of the team in front of us and threw anyway. The cool part was that they lost half of their discs in the stream in front of the whole bunch that was watching. Damn that was funny. Especially the way that each team laughed their asses off when they passed them while they were still fishing out their only discs. $1 gets rid of those ass holes guaranteed.
I got the pro-worlds on video. It was done up pretty good. I remember rushing out on how many people were at Como for the finals and all the cranes, announcers and score boards just like Tiger Woods was there or something. My daughter and I were in the video over and over.
