Just got back from looking through HI. Only 2 cars and the park patrol. Checked all over the place. Found "Frozen Butt Hunt" written in the snow, so I knew we must be in the right place anyway.
We tore up that area around the flag on that big rock. It didn't look like we were the first to do so either. We even broke apart a few frozen pieces of poop with no luck.
Well, I'm going to Harriet this afternoon, and I don't want any frozen Butt Hunters following me around, OK? I'll be there for other reasons. I'll probably be accompanied by a Hairbrush, a Clown, Joe Medallion, who knows what else.
As far as my parking goes this one mightt throw it off I think!
The first time to the park I parked on Water st.(same place as this morn me2)SO we will see!hehe
Dammm I wish someone would find it!
I have roots to get too!--AW--
GoodLuck eveyone!
Ian why didnt you find it! geshh!
REDBEAR--No luck on the flashlight!: ( But I did go to the lost and found--NO flashlight but they did hAve this cool little DOGTAG!!!SAID something like Puck Posse 2003??? Not---I wish--Kidding!
So still no one has found it? Life here at work is pretty dead. Maybe I'll take off early and go take a look for myself before going to my Mason meeting.
Holy crap! We just got back from Harriet/ Navy/Raspberry Island where we were looking for about an hour. On our way back over the Wabasha/Freedom bridge we were surrounded by 12 cop cars at the intersection of Wabasha and Kellogg. They all jumped out with their guns drawn and were running all over the place securing all directions of road. It looked like a frickin' movie. We were caught in the dead center of the whole thing and couldn't move for nothing since we were blocked from all angles by cop cars. Fortunately all 8 arrests went off without a hitch except when two guys got out of the SUV at the same time. Everyone was jumping around and ready to fire during their arrests, but the K9 dog must have got his point across, because as soon as he started going nuts the suspects moved away from each other and hit the ground. We had 2 separate suspects cuffed and put in the cars on both sides of my car. Unfortunately we didn't find the puck yet. But fortunately I did have my camera during the whole thing. Did anyone else see what I'm talking about?
Yeah, up at Chair-O-kee too for Jakes hunt. Actually a few other times as well. Those others were just drunks during the late night hunting though. This stuff seems to happen to me whenever I'm on a treasure hunt. And of course with more hunts, come more cops. I'm worried about your hunt AW. I'm just glad that all that happened during the PP hunt was that I got a parking ticket. Plus I beat it.
I'll put out the word. ;-) Â I am looking over your clues AW but just not full throttle yet because of this hunt. I'm looking forward to doing the deep noodling once this one is over.
I really don't know about the clue time or about the TV stations. Channel 4 is right there though. I'm sure if seen it they would of jumped on it ASAP. It happened way fast.
There is puck posee board. (they've got a thread for your clues too)
I'm sure one of us will post it here when it comes out if you don't have access (we could have sworn you were Aquarius Rex over there, AW, but turns out its a she)
There was a poster on the PP board during the hunt named Aquarius and I think that was her. I've never posted on that board, though I used to look at it sometimes when it was open.

CLUE #11
Aren't we patriotic?
Don't we like to sing?
Pledging that you'll find it,
Will lead you to the thing.
OK:
"I pledge allegiance ... "

It hasn't been 'dropped' yet ?

So it's not been found yet?
What I really want to know though is how did Marley manage to park by the flagpole?
I was down there thismorning and I parked near the flagpole :)
I have photos of the race ... well, the aftermath of the race.
Who had the rake ?
I had the rake Ian! hehe!!
As far as my parking goes this one mightt throw it off I think!

These guys are out there, tho:

nobody else was there from 1:00 until I left at 2:30
I forgot, I need to post my own clue, so I guess I'm going to be at home for a while yet.

Isn't this the 2nd time someone's been arrested in your presence while you were out hunting?

The cops aren't allowed in my hunt.
I'll put out the word. ;-)

Well it should be over soon. When does clue #12 come out?
any TV stations out there for that CM?
Oh, there won't need to be another clue. ;-)
I really don't know about the clue time or about the TV stations. Channel 4 is right there though. I'm sure if seen it they would of jumped on it ASAP. It happened way fast.
Doesn't it come out in like a few minutes?
usually 10:00 I think
Oh, I guess I'll wait around then. 10:00 here or there?
Where is there?
Their PP site.
Prolly over there

I never registered for that site and now I can't even look at it so I don't really know what's going on over there.
There was a poster on the PP board during the hunt named Aquarius and I think that was her. I've never posted on that board, though I used to look at it sometimes when it was open.
If she's really an Aquarius, then obviously she must be a cool person.
You're not missing too much, there are alot of nice people over there, but they don't do much posting, they're mostly in the chat room.

Obviously :-)
CLUE #12
Docked at Harriet Island
It's called the Covington Inn (www.covingtoninn.com)
The flagpole out front
Is a good place to begin
Walk South just 18 paces
And look down near a rock
Under fake dog poop
And in part of a sock
It was doggie doo doo! I was right.
Maybe that's what the prize is for, the Covington Inn, and that's why she didn't say what the prize was?
no wonder no one could find it! HA HA!
Congratulations to Marley King and Regman!!!
Did they find it?
Yup!
Cooler!
Way cooler!
I was down there thismorning and I parked near the flagpole :)
I was parked by that flag thismorning talking to Marley...geeesh and I musta broke the chain of being parked near it...
Marley? was it ON the turn-around? or near where I parked my truck there?
If that guy with the dog would not have come up to us I would have looked more-
That would be an awesome wonderful prize to stay at the Covington- how nice- PARTY at the Covington on Marley! :)
