Clue #8

It seems the Science Museum is the place to go see ‘em
If you like to watch those high-riding Omni flicks
But for the treasure’s location, search near a solid foundation
That, in truth, supports much more than just bricks.

And the previous clues:

Clue #7

Using this clue to go forth, it's best to start with the north
And then making sense of this verse might be more groovy.
If you keep that in mind, then you're more likely to find
Help from a park somewhere in 007's first movie.

Clue #6

From the treasure's home, our Capitol dome
You really can't see worth diddly squat.
But you'll be getting hotter if you stay near water
Even though the treasure is in a very dry spot.

Clue #5

Where the treasure doth dwell, only time will tell
Though it might appear that time stands still.
For when you see a train that does not move or gain
Then have this treasure hunt in hand you will.

Clue #4

How much wood do you think a woodchuck could
Check if a woodchuck could check wood?
Though a woodchuck could, doesn't mean a woodchuck would,
But if it would and it could it should

Clue #3

The game of Gin won't help you win
And in Poker, no one sits in the north
Instead set your aim, by sighting this game
And you may need to go look for a fourth.

Clue #2

While taking a look around, you'll see hazards abound
And thus safety and common sense are important details
Troubling I think it would be, if I should happen to see
Legions of hunters wandering too far from the trails.

Might it be true, you'd like another clue?
Solve then if you will my funny little riddle.
How would you go? You'd drive to the park, no?
Right you would be if you first look for the middle.

Clue #1

Because St. Paul is the place, flowing with heaps of park space,
You may consider it smart to work together in pairs.
For two heads keep better pace seeking out a treasure's hidden place
Or then again one person alone may spot the fourteen squares.

Until I find out it's not there and end up looking dumb, but isn't that what noodling is all about?

I know 2 people were gonna go there this whole week and I think never made it there- rrrrrr ---- and someone today said there is nothing at that park! rrrrrrr

Well I had the right park on the 'middle' clue but had it between 2 parks that were at the extremes of the city. Then got stuck on one park -I like my idea for clue 7 much better ;)!

I was even on my way out to park #2 when I got hungry and had to pay a bill online on the 13th! so I drove home instead and never went back out. :(

I still had 4 solid parks on my list until someone figured out clue 7 (thanks Terry)! But I had a pretty solid feeling about the 14 squares, and it fits right into this park and with this last clue.

I'll have to go see if I can get kicked out of the park ;-)

I went out for a while late last night, did some driving around, got out and checked a few places out, heard some strange noises then someone yell "Hey!" so I boogied out of there. I didn't get out in the area I like best though, didn't seem like a good idea to go walking through the woods by myself after midnight. Will definately be going back tomorrow.

don't know what you ran into, but from my latest geocaching adventures, I can tell you that the "mobile population" is coming back to Minnesota. There is activity by the river, and in the woods. Spring is coming.

Well I'm heading out in a bit. My singles club is supposed to be going for a walk at Como Lake at 4pm, and then we're having dinner at Don Pablo's in Roseville at 6:30, and somewhere in there I need to post the clue. I might be able to do it from Gabe's or from my parent's house, but it's possible it may not come out exactly at 6. Shouldn't be more than a few minutes off though.

Anyhow.. this past weekend, we were out lookin in tons of parks, non-stop for the shiznit... we missed some of ya'll by a lil bit in a couple parks... and we werent even wearing paint... we aint even tryin to be sneaky, and we're still all hidden, like a ninja. Hell yeah.

We were at Harriet the other night.... the same night infact, that Frozen Butts thing was found... and we were there like an hour after it had been found (that seems to be happening alot with hunts... us getting to the right park, RIGHT after its been found), and Shagg's bro was waiting in his car, for us to get done looking around the park... when a cop showed up and started buggin him about why we were in the park.... so we bust up there with the quickness, and the cop goes "What are you guys doing here??" so we straight start explainin about the PP hunt, and how a whole crew of ninjas do their own mock hunts throughout the year, and post clues online and shit.. right?... so the cop looks at us, and goes "You guys arent serious are you??" which causes the 3 of us to all look at eachother, like "What the hell??" and then we go "Yeah... why?" and the cop goes "Hold on... their gonna love this" and he pulls out his walkie talkie thing, and says some 10 code thing and goes "Yeah.. its all clear... but get this... their doing an INTERNET MEDALLION HUNT!!!!!" and starts bustin up laughin his ass off, and then he starts getting responses from other cops, saying smart ass shit, and basically saying that he shouldnt even waste his time with us, because we're too geeky and dumbass-like to even KNOW how to commit crimes. Then he hops in his car, and goes "You ladies have a nice night now... HAHAHAHA!!!" and speeds off laughin about it....

What the hell, right?? Damn man.

The next night, I guess there was a shooting or somethin down there at Harriet too... I sure hope none of you other "Geeks" were down there with your guns, trying to "commit crimes"

So yeah... just beware of cops... incase they ask you whats up and then laugh at you when you tell em.

I'm willing to bet, that a few cops will be out looking for it too... cause we told that dude, that sometimes theres money involved, for the winner/winners, and he got all serious for a minute and went "How much?" and when we told him, he asked if we had some of the clues on us.

Way funny stuff! Gotta love it.

Happy B-day VJ! Mine is officially today! (3/17) Nothing planned other than checking the parade and visiting Grandma's with the kid. Maybe go out to eat and do some searching later though. A huge difference than when I turned 22. Similar to Iraq, I was on my own type of bomb. Man, I don't know where I got 3 days of time to waste back then. Boy, thing have changed. I'm noodlin' pretty hard AW but don't want to post any lame thoughts just yet. I do have a few reaches though that could possibly fall in place depending on the next clue. Nice clues so far (if they fit of course ;o)
