So what's the Babe Ruth connection? . . . Anyone?

Clue six

A famous person

fit in our game

Bring the treasue home

I think this refers to a famous baseball player, Hence Babe Ruth

by the way no-one has ever hit over 754 home runs.

and clue 4, studying the past can be quite a blast, Ruth was the most prolific blaster, home run hitter of the past.

Clue No. 6:

A man of fame offers a useful name That can be found in many a tome Figure out how these clues fit in our game And you just might bring the treasure home

Clue No. 5: If you're yearning for something worth learning You might be very near your goal So try to be smart and discerning And your treasure chest could end up full

Clue No. 4: Studying the past can be quite a blast But there's value as well in the new If you're willing to be an iconoclast The treasure might belong to you

Clue No. 3: Numbers keep score and adorn the front door Now do your best to figure these out A nine and a five and somewhere a four Get them right and you'll shout

Clue No. 2: Flying downhill can be quite a thrill And a popular outdoor attraction But your chances of winning are nil If you get too close to the action

Clue No. 1: The time for fun has now begun In our hunt that's open to all But if you don't want to be outdone Look only on public ground in St. Paul

A park is the spot but a golf course is not So please don't disturb a fairway or green Follow this advice and you won't be caught Wasting your time at the wrong scene

Well if it has anything to do with Babe Ruth then I would think it would be on a mound to somewhere on a softball or baseball field!

Jim Buzz, thanks for the advice. But the point was that if you hadn't already HEARD of Hudson, then perhaps you missed something. I may not remember who exactly he was, but I DO recognize the name . . . it's rather famous, OK?!

At Highland there is a education site and in one of the clues it says there is a yearning for learning, but no one has mentioned anything about education.

The corner of Ruth St. and Upper Afton is where the BC Rec Center is, which Battle Creek Middle school is located on.

If you take 94 to Ruth st. exit you take this to Upper afton Ave. The Middle school is right off of Ruth and so is the recreation center and the ski jump!!!!!!

The only thing that doesn't fit in as well at BP is the 4,5,9 clue. Unless it is only a refference to the freeways surrounding that area. Otherwise I'm set on BP.

Have any of you EVER been to Pig's Eye Park?

And, I'm with Bart. Posting the clues here is just annoying. None of us own the site, but hey, it's just annoying to have to scroll through when you know all the clues by heart and have them on paper in front of you. No offense though, . . .
