icm
ladyc.. i should have recognized the name..
anyone know what town the hockey hall of fame is located?
#1... says stay off the golf course... why would they tell us soooo early if there wasnt a golf course in the park... and at highland you can throw a rock from the baseball/football fields into the 9 hole course...
#2... flying downhill... there are cross country ski paths leading down a hill that starts at the Highland Park schools and ends near the golf course... if you stay away from the paths you arent getting too close to the action...
although this may be way out there what the hell thats what this page is all about.....theres a college park by luther sem. and st. anthony lib. pretty good sledding. searched there quick there were three mysterious memorial rocks... one was dedicated to a something GREEN born or died in 1859 first clue says dont disturb green maybe number play with rocks addresses....who knows????
#3... numbers keep score... there is a scoreboard away from the golf course and ski paths at highlnad.... adorn the front door... 51 and 5 triangualte the borders of Highland park... somewhere a four ("fore") and shout tells us there is a golf course in the park
#4... "blast" = old ammo shells buried under highland park (study the past)... iconoclasts... there seemed to have been a group called the highlanders whom were quite famous iconoclasts... by digging in highland we are willing to be iconocalsts (highlanders)...
#5... yearning for something worth learning... 2 highland schools side by side across the street from the football fields... which also coincindentally only has one "GOAL" (from the second line)... the other goal post is missing... it would be in the middle of one of the baseball fields if it was there... and the word smart is a word middle schoolers would use, and discerning would be a word a high school would use... the 2 schools are a middle and a high school...
I don't see any connection to Newell or Highland. However, consider Dunning Field.
1. It's on Marshall Ave, as in US Spureme Ct Chief Justice Marshall, man of fame & many tomes
2. Very flat, not much sledding here
3. 4, 5, & 9: zip=55104. right next to I-94. Dunning Field is full of baseball fields. nine players in a lineup, four bases, nine innings.
4. reference to learning: dunning is next to Central High and Concordia and Univ ave
5. More baseball: multiple references to game, keeping score, "bring the treasure home"
6. Iconoclast? Well, I kind of like the "Against the Norm" idea leading to skip humphrey as in skip the hills. Or, perhaps it refers to Hamline ave and the pied piper, or maybe JV and the "ventura highway"--what highway does one take from brooklyn park to the governor's mansion? I-94.
IMHO--I say its near home plate or 2nd base in one of the newer baseball fields near Central High. You guys digging in Newell Park should get some sleep.
#6... ah yes number 6... tonights fresh clue... the best i can come up with is that SNELLING (name) runs right along the parks edge where all of the sports GAMES are played... im sure snelling is in plenty of Tomes and it is a reference to our HOME state
alright im ready for some feedback on my Highland ideas... tell me whats wrong or right about them... no matter, i'll be there tomorrow all day, with 9 beers, 5 joints, and 4 hookers...
HIYA BARTON--how you been--i was out digging in the football field on montreal there. No-one out there--lol--we have alot to dig up if were gonna do the whole park by ourselves... and very well put about the clues but no-one will listen to us--hey all... read up on your history and youll know more!!!!
hey Chris Campbell... whats the point of even saying that??? i have noticed that COCKY MF'S NEVER FIND THE MEDALLION... they are just confident and persistent... oh yeah theyre also part of a TEAM!!!!
where the clues talk about 9, 5 and 4, well, a famous sports player got this many points, and a street with there last name runs along this park. Thats all i can say to not give it away
chris--baseball has nothing to do with it--someone just choose the street cuz IT was there and someone famous was named after that--you can do the same thing with any street name--please dont feed into the hype
OK Chris CAmpbell... if you are too lazy to look up how many Homeruns Babe Ruth ACTUALLY hit then i think you really should go there... let's see... Hank Aaron broke Ruth's record with 754... thats odd... seems as though Ole Hanky boy was 200 HR's short by CC's count... what was all the hoopla about when he hit #715 for then???
ladyc.. i should have recognized the name..
anyone know what town the hockey hall of fame is located?

Do you guys think that its just a coincidence that they use the word "treasure" in the last line of the past three clues?
#3... numbers keep score... there is a scoreboard away from the golf course and ski paths at highlnad.... adorn the front door... 51 and 5 triangualte the borders of Highland park... somewhere a four ("fore") and shout tells us there is a golf course in the park
what does tome have to do with a large park?
#4... "blast" = old ammo shells buried under highland park (study the past)... iconoclasts... there seemed to have been a group called the highlanders whom were quite famous iconoclasts... by digging in highland we are willing to be iconocalsts (highlanders)...
Tome refers to places of large volumes

did anyone figure out if a man of fame is a definition of a word?
Just got back from Newell, there were a few people there digging digging & digging, but I have a feeling it ain't gonna be there
I don't see any connection to Newell or Highland. However, consider Dunning Field.

Hey every one pull your finger of the carb....cough cough!!!! o.k. thats better now lets think who is this man of fame???????????
#6... ah yes number 6... tonights fresh clue... the best i can come up with is that SNELLING (name) runs right along the parks edge where all of the sports GAMES are played... im sure snelling is in plenty of Tomes and it is a reference to our HOME state
Just so you all know, i have figured out the 6th clue, i know who the man of fame is and i know where the park that the medallion is hidden is at
I think BC can be on track cause the word iconoclast(clue#4)Means to destroy which can refer to a battle. There is also a big hill.
Well Christopher you are just the mofoing man
alright im ready for some feedback on my Highland ideas... tell me whats wrong or right about them... no matter, i'll be there tomorrow all day, with 9 beers, 5 joints, and 4 hookers...
kevin sorbow or whatever his name is is a minnesota boy and he plays hercules a man of many many tomes but what can we learn from that?
peachcobbler- CDH is Cretin-Derham Hall. I once lit the bushes on fire.
HIYA BARTON--how you been--i was out digging in the football field on montreal there. right on Bill... dont my ideas seem the most glaring and apparent??? when i was there last night everywhere i turned i saw a clue
chris you counting rbis too?
BABE RUTH HIT 954 HOME RUNS, RUTH STREET RUNS RIGHT ALONG BATTLE CREEK PARK, THATS THE PARK IN WHICH THE MEDALLION IS HIDDEN
Hey Cambell Soup that idea sounds MM-MM-Good. What park?
that clue SEPARATES the 4 from the 9 and 5... the 9 and 5 may be separate also...
wow he must have been a god to have hit 954 say how many years did he play ball for?
BATTLE CREEK PARK, DOES EVERYONE AGREE?
chris--baseball has nothing to do with it--someone just choose the street cuz IT was there and someone famous was named after that--you can do the same thing with any street name--please dont feed into the hype
Cambell-Read up on your history. Babe only hit 714 home-runs, not 954 you Jap.
Christopher I'm thinking there's a possibility it could be there, along w/ every other park in St Paul, haha nah jk
Barton--have you been able to get the precinct number for the little station on the park--we drove in there but it wasnt posted on the building
