It's time for the Medallion Hunt! The first clue will appear on PioneerPlanet just after midnight Saturday, Jan. 22. Come back here to compare notes with other treasure seekers, but be certain you read the rules on the Planet's Winter Carnival page.

WELL, DO YOU ALL THINK IT IS AT NEWALL, FIRST OFF, THEY WOULD NOT GIVE THE PARK NAME IN SUCH AN OBVIOUS MWAY AS WELL AS SO EARLY IN THE GAME
I liked someones earlier suggestion about the mystery surrounding the past three clues and how the very last line of the clue refers to the word treasure...just somethingto ponder
I would like to take third seconds of your time and kneel down.. Barton your on right track, you have had the best ideas sense this bloody thing has started. I'm with you!!!! And for Chirs. get off the and find something better to do then waste our time.
dont think the copshop is a reference point this year... they used it for highland in 94 and it's close to the 9 hole course... so they dont want people digging across the street... and no, we didnt get a chance to see any Precint #'s
I'm definately ruling out Newell in my opinion...I'm taking a guess at Highland, or maybe Battle Creek & that the very least, Como, but I don't know anything really, just going by my gutt.
cool BKing... i'll be there around noon or 1... for all day i hope!!... i'll have to "hunt" ya down and get some serious spoken words in about where in that damn park it could be...
YOU KNOW, I'M JUST TRYING TO HELP, I REPORT WHAT I HEAR, THERE ARE MANY DIFFERENT INTERPRETATIONS OF CLUES, IF YOU DON'T LIKE WHAT I SAY, THEN DON'T BELIEVE ME, JUST SAY I DON'T AGREE AND DON'T JUMP DOWN MY THROAT, BUT PERSONALLY, THE WAY I INTERPRET ALL THE CLUES, I THINK IT IS A BATTLE CREEK
i'm listening to you medallion madams i here doyou know me i think you do anyway just a few more mins and i think we will be on our way to that park we talked
about earlier. hint hint and where we were tonight.
Me... blue and Black jacket.. white Tshirt wrapped around arm... in my 20's.. with a white dog covered in brown spots... i trained him to sniff out the Med...!!!
I really belive the 9 5 4 thing could just be the fact that 5 years ago in 94--it was at highland ( the 4 bus route makes sense though--but not looking that far into it--i think the numbers will come later and if were right on now--itll pay off for us faster)--my wife thinks that they may have gone back to the old treasure chest from the first 5 years, being the hiding spot
sorry chris heres all im sayin if he played for 20 years it would mean he would have had to hit an aveage of 47.7 home runs a season and since that is such an unbeliveable stat I just can't see it.
Hey dan the only thing you'll find at dunning is a wall of bullets, or a cap in your ass. It's right by White Castle for god sakes! You know that's the hood! Unless the carnival committee is handing out bullet proof vests I don't think they'd put it there.
well the bowl is fried....so it must be time to goto bed. I'd be lying if i said goodluck to anyone here because i want the luck so until next time....
hey superstar.. maybe in #5 "and your treasure chest could end up full" means that if your treasurED CHEST could end up full of BULLETS you are in the right park!!!... dunning could lead us to the holy land!!!
highland park (the non golf areas) is a little bigger than chair-o-key from last year... it's basically a rectangle that we are allowed to search in...
Hey Barton--you know if you use the streets as your way into the park from snelling--the Bridge you drive under would be your adorned door?????????????
the only thing thats puzzling me is that the school kids may use the park on the weekdays for Xcountry skiing and that Sh*t... why would they put a bunch of drunken hunters with shovels, hoes, rakes, and picks, in the middle of the Young-uns....??? i guess they can play around us though...
Zac are you out there its stone cold. me and plums have a good idea of what park its in. his dad works for the city of st.paul. and this park fits every clue to a T. only a coulpe people have been in there.
Didnt see anything but the bridge alone is an "adorning" thing itself--it Adorns the entrance to the park useing the number clues as streets to guide the way--thats the same way the 4 bus travels
I'm a former student of Highland Park, and I'm with everyone else. Anyone have any questions about the terrain, don't hesitate to ask... :) Good luck to all, and believe me, with myself out there digging, you'll need it...
yeah totally could be... either "amanoffame" jumbles into something... but im striking out on that on right now... or since all the words end in ME maybe the first 2 letters of each of those words jumbles into something... "fanatogaho"... play with em... i know i am
I would like to add to the 9 and 5 theory as also being 1995 and 4 years ago it was at BC. Also I agree with the one who said, being its worth ten grand this year, The Big guys at PP are going to make us all work our brains to the max, or drive us all CRAZY!!!! I like 9 shots of the antifreeze of your choice, 5 joints, and 4 fellow hunters to have a great time in this winter wonderland WE call MINNESOTA - HAPPY HUNTING!!! Don't forget the firewood. Good Luck to all. Auntie Crazy don't forget the cough syrup.(rootbeer schnapps) See ya in the afternoon. BYE NOW> Just me.

Dunning--did no one hear that? Never been in that neighborhood? Dunning field.
dont think the copshop is a reference point this year... they used it for highland in 94 and it's close to the 9 hole course... so they dont want people digging across the street... and no, we didnt get a chance to see any Precint #'s

hey Christopher... im just TELLIN ya that the Bambino hit 714 homers... not 954... if he had i'd be on your side too...
sorry chris heres all im sayin if he played for 20 years it would mean he would have had to hit an aveage of 47.7 home runs a season and since that is such an unbeliveable stat I just can't see it.

Hey dan the only thing you'll find at dunning is a wall of bullets, or a cap in your ass. It's right by White Castle for god sakes! You know that's the hood! Unless the carnival committee is handing out bullet proof vests I don't think they'd put it there.
BARTON--Ill be wearing a Vikings jacket--wife will be in gophers jacket and ive trained my 4 yr old to sniff out the medallion!!!--lol
We are thinking that this clue will contain an anagram of some type--read it carefully Barton and tell me what you think--break it up

I'm a former student of Highland Park, and I'm with everyone else. Anyone have any questions about the terrain, don't hesitate to ask... :) Good luck to all, and believe me, with myself out there digging, you'll need it...
If there is an anagram it has to be in the words "many a tome" those 9 letters!
WHY DO WE THINK IT'S AT HIGHLAND PARK?
Ashlee--isnt one of the schools on highland park known as old school #9??
yeah totally could be... either "amanoffame" jumbles into something... but im striking out on that on right now... or since all the words end in ME maybe the first 2 letters of each of those words jumbles into something... "fanatogaho"... play with em... i know i am
