Hi all ahhh my weekend begins. I get to go to the shooting rang in the morning and finally shoot the three weapons I've collected since last fall. My shoulder will most likely need lots of ice by night fall LOL.

ironically, yes. although that incident was before i had my camera. i was driving down 35w once, and there on the side of the road was a stalled convertible. with a woman bent over the driver's side door. wearing an incredibly short skirt. in much the same manner as true scotsmen wear kilts.

I asked that because that's exactly why I started keeping my camera with me at all times years ago. Unfortunately, that particular situation hasn't presented itself since that time :-(

What range do you go to?

I go to Armored Fire or Bills. A.F. is nicer but I kind of prefer Bills

Today I went with my wifes uncle to the V.F.W. range south on 35w near Farmington. I used to go to oakdale gun club in oakdale till they started charging $14 a gun. I think I will go to Bald eagle gun club this year but I have not made it there yet. A fun day the Russian WW2 snipper rifle was awsome, the 1911 steyr 9mm did not work looks like I have aproject to work on. I also shot a copule of Mausers and my trusty SKS.My sholder is sore.

Kris has qualified for the National Junior Gold Championship the past two years - Reno and Lakeland/Winter Haven. This year he would have qualified in September if we'd entered him. We didn't, because he would usually have easier competition in Feb/Mar. Well, that didn't work out. A month ago it was announced that this year's tournament in Saint Louis was full. Possible entry tournaments dried up. It was looking bad.

He went to Iowa in the midst of a heartbreaking split with the girl of his dreams. Bowling was not at center of his thoughts. Anyway, SHIT !

Today there was a tournament at Flaherty's and he blew everyone away. First series - 704
Second series - 696
6 game total - 1400 - a 233 average

We're going to Saint Louis in July !

watching tv...a commercial for internet is on with these monks who I thought they said that they were honoring a vow of celibacy and then you hear them typing away crazily on their computers...then they mention chat rooms and pictures...ofcourse everyone knows where my mind is at. WoW! so I watch intently the next time around when the commercial comes on again...the monks vow was SILENCE! they sound alike...Silence - Celibacy uuuuuuh!

hey, I was reading the Sunday newspaper the other day and came across an article about theMarjorie McNeely Conservatory at Como Park.
I never knew it had a persons name. I also heard through the grapevine that supposedly she donated a lot of $$ thats why they gave it her name last year but some people were upset because they donated $$ too. I began to think it was interesting that the 2003 hunt had no Conservatory clue and they could have used her name somehow cause hardly anyone knew about the change.

oh...also--- The Fern Room at the Conservatory is CLOSING for good May 4th ...

anyone know where I can download adaptec easy cd creater for free?

Damn! I uninstalled it when I installed that stupid nero! I couldnt figure out how to copy pics with it so I uninstalled that before I remembered that I uninstalled adaptec.

If you find it, let me know. My old computer (Windows 98) has adaptec (I think version 4), and my new computer won't support it (Windows XP).

freedownloads.com has some updates, Not sure if that will do anything for you or not.

I had the same problem with 4.0

adaptec now has a FREE upgrade that I downloaded but never installed. I found out later about the XP Program Compatibility Wizard. You can make your XP run as the program as Win 98. It's in the Programs/Accessories on my computer.

I saw that. They have 4.x updates too, but it didn't look like it would help.

As some of you know, our son has been in Michigan at Grad school for the past 2 1/2 years. You might also remember that he is leaving this Sunday for a couple years with the Peace Corps.

He successfully defended his thesis on April 1st and then had many required revisions to do. It was thought that any final revisions would have to wait until he got back from his time with the Peace Corps. That would mean a delay in receiving his diploma for his Masters.

This button-popping proud Mom wishes to announce they have now accepted his revisions and he is done! We will have his diploma sent here in about a month! Our son has his Masters!!!!!!!!!!

So what's everybody's thoughts on tonight's big games? Wild, Wolves and Twins all playing at home at the same time! I'll go with an optimistic 3-0. Just for the cool factor alone.
